Black Swan Espresso is a beautiful little spot a little off the main street. This coffee shop was pretty small, a total of two seats at the window, one two seater table inside although and two tables outside. When we walked in, there were about 8 people making the place a little packed.

Best coffee in NJ. Great space with friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Always a joy to drop in for hot or cold coffee or tea. My faves are drip, cortado, or iced tea or mocha for a treat. Grateful for the owner and Adam, who are very generous and kind.

This is cool spot, I honestly never Knew was here in the City of Newark for quite some time. The location is a tiny space but fills up with so many customers. If you are looking for a nice safe place away from the Hustle & Bustle of Newarks Downtown Life & want some real good coffee or tea. Definitely got to try paying a visit to the Black Swan, the place smells great walking in and the vibes are chill. Employees are cool, respectful and know how to throw down. Such yumminess with muffins, oatmeal, cheddar scones, good Salads and flavor packed sandwiches.

Solid coffee. Really one of the best I have had in a long time- fresh, strong, well-balanced, and classic coffee flavour (no weird fruity, acidic notes.) Prices are fair and atmosphere, although not many seats, good. They also filled it right up!
