Don’t let the look of this place turn you away. The food is amazing. We had the Special Rice with Pork Belly and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The pork belly melts in your mouth. This place is amazing. Everything we had was superb. The décor needs work, but if you’re looking for good food, this is the place.

Both my partner and I ordered beef hot pots. We arrived 1.5 hours before close and had called before coming. No one was dining in, the tables were dirty and the woman who “greeted” us wasn’t friendly almost at all. We said we’d be dining in ( BECAUSE WE WANTED A HOT POT WHICH IS SUPPOSED COME IN A POT! WITH A VARIETY OF VEGGIES AND THE MEAT OR WHATEVER TYPE YOU PAY FOR ON THE SIDE). YEAH, NOPE! Not what we got! Not only was the customer service rude and we paid before eating even though we dined in; but! They served our “HOTPOT” in a Styrofoam takeout box and I picked it up from the counter! AND! NOOO BROTH! This is NOT authentic food. It’s almost like they assumed we were ignorant and didn’t know what a hot pot would be. I’m a HUGE foodie and LOVE and respect and seek out other cultures food, especially if it’s a local place. They do not have fountain drinks or Water! And! Not only was it not a hot pot; they also made us feel like they wanted us to dine OUT! Even though by the time we got our food we had an hour til they closed. The ONLY reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the food didn’t taste bad at all, it’s just not at all what I ordered or wanted. I was polite and thanked them. But 37$ for 2 “beef hot pots” and a CAN of Mountain Dew and a bottle of aquafina…. Ha.. no I think I’ll definitely not be coming back. I was waiting excited to go for thissss! AND I know what a dang hot pot is! Ugh!!! Pics below.

I absolutely love this place. This is my go to for soups or noodles. I love their portion sizes and pricing they don’t skimp out , you are going to be fed. The meat is juicy and makes you want to order again soon, it’s so filling too.

2019-12-11 Update: Rating increased to four stars. The new cashier was friendly and attentive. Tried their spicy pot. Large portion and reasonable price. Unknown if other dishes remained the same as before.

Lady there was nice but I found eggshells in my food, the chicken looked undercooked, and I puked after eating it. I ordered a very standard entree and felt that it was made completely wrong and was tasteless.

The dim sum and entrees are made to order. They came out quick and hot. Everything was delicious. The steamed pork bun and the red bean buns were perfect. The spicy shui mai noodle soup was a big bowl of happiness. Perfection. Five stars. Two thumbs up. Cheers.

The worst place you can go in Blacksburg. The waitress is extremely rude. She serve you with a mean and bad attitude and throw food to the table when the food is ready. The taste of food is even worse, the egg is not even boiled completely, it is still cold inside. Now I know why the restaurant is always empty. DO NOT GO unless you enjoy someone treat you badly.

if this place does not get 5 stars, those patrons are just wrong. This is the best American-chinese and ramen food I have ever had in my life. Portions are huge, prices are fair, the flavor is amazing with EVERYTHING i have gotten from here. I order here probably once a week it is that good. I always have leftovers!

by far the best authentic chinese food in blacksburg!! if you’re looking for the typical lo mein or orange chicken, i suggest you go to another place. i got the spicy beef noodle soup and my friend got the veggie instant noodle stir fry. both had great chinese 5 spice and wok flavor. also has great dim sum options if you’re craving that!!
