Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were eager to introduce us first timers to the restaurant and what the best specialty items were. I found the Cajun Shrimp and Grits to be out of this world good, especially given the fact that you get a choice of house made biscuits to go with it. For the price it is basically impossible to beat. It looks humble on the outside, but the ambience of the interior is really pleasant with ample seating and a beautiful loft area.

My family and I just had a wonderful breakfast at Blackstone Cafe. In fact, it was our second breakfast this weekend there. This time we were fortunate enough to be there for their tradition of saying the pledge of allegiance every morning, which is something so special and wonderful that they do. We definitely want to support any establishment that is dedicated to such patriotism and tradition! (So we will definitely be back!) The food and coffee is lovely, and the servers are always friendly. It’s definitely a great spot to go for breakfast when you’re in town. Highly recommend!

Loved it here! Staff was super friendly, and everything about it reminded me of small town diners in my hometown that have long gone. If I lived here I’d be at this joint regularly. First the presentation of the food was better than anywhere in Beaufort, everything looks amazing. Staff were great which is abnormal for the area. Unfortunately most of our food seem to be devoid of seasoning aside from the actual french toast which was seasoned quite well. Great looking bland food is still bland food. Give it a shot when you’re by could have been a one off.

These are great folks. We went on a guys fishing trip in August and stopped by for breakfast. The food was delicious, my favorite was the sausage and gravy biscuits. I tried a Carmel Latte which was amazing, so amazing that the whole table ordered one after seeing mine. Before eating I went shopping next door and bought a few t-shirts. The food was so good that I left my bag sitting on the floor beside the table. I called them two days later and they still had my bag and said they would ship it home to me. They wouldn’t even let me pay the shipping cost. WOW is all I can say. What a great family owned business. Thanks Ally!!!
