Visting the area, and was very pleased with our family dining choice to dine here. Food and service was great. Big portions & great price. The onion rings are very good. Chicken tender are delish. I would recommend if your in the area to stop by for sure! To bad we do not have anything local like this back home.

Loved my mother clucking chicken sandwich. Every flavor popped. From the greens, to the awesome sauce they rolled the chicken in, the nice crispy bacon, then topping it off the homemade pimento cheese. Off the charts with flavor!!! My fried green tomatoes on the other hand where undercooked with had hard tomato centers VERY thick. If thinner they might of cooked fully. The staff was welcoming and very attentive.

Coming from a girl’s trip,my friends and I stopped at this restaurant. The sign said, “Wait to be seated we did. Once a waitress finally acknowledged us standing there, she asked, “How many?” We told her 5. There were no table for our party in the main dining area, so she prepared a table in another room. She then proceeded to help another customer. This did not look good, considering we were the only black folks. Another wait began to help us get seated. My friends felt a little unsettled but proceeded to stay. Once we sat down, they sat other people and proceeded to take their orders before ours. We were hungry, so we stayed but did not care for the wait staff. Once we got our food, the portions were large and the food was good. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It was delicious. My friends enjoyed their dishes too. The owner came by and chatted with us. I’m glad he did, he seemed very nice. Then as we were to pay the bill, the waitress stated, the lady behind us paid for our meals. So thank you very much ma’am, we all thank you! All in all, at the end we enjoyed the food and would come back again. See you in the fall Mike, we are coming to be the leaf watchers!

Amazing small town Diner style restaurant! Our waitress was really friendly and checked in on us often. I got the French toast which tasted amazing! All staff was so friendly and even gave us some recommendations for some shops in town down the road for shopping since we needed to kill some time. Would definitely return!

Sorry this is kind of long…. We have had lunch at Blairsville Restaurant quite a few times with no issues, and good experiences. We have mostly gone through the cafeteria line, but also ordered off the menu at times. So, when our friends came from out of town for a visit, I suggested that we have dinner at Blairsville Restaurant. I told them about the menu and cafeteria line options, and we all agreed that it would be a good choice.

These fine folks provided all of the catering/food for an event yesterday. The food, service, atmosphere and staff were superb. Words will not convey the outstanding job they did in such a beautiful setting on the lake. “THANK YOU”!
