We’ve been visiting Duxbury Beach State Park for a few years and finally decided to grab some food from Blakeman’s. Not sure what took us so long but it was worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish sandwich. Not too heavily breaded and the fish was very fresh. The accompanying fries were excellent. My wife was impressed by the taste and size of the lobster roll. Our son enjoyed his chicken fingers and fries and he’s a very picky eater.

The food was amazing. Best fried calamari I’ve ever had. It was very fresh. The fish and chips was a huge portion. The fried oysters on a salad came from Island Creek Oysters which are the best. Also try the lobster roll ( on a roll or gluten free bread) with a generous portion of lobster and perfectly cooked fries. I will definitely go back.

We went on a Wednesday night, it wasn’t really busy but there were a lot of bugs sitting outside. Most of the foods were fried but they were good. Pretty nice location to see a sunset and be by the beach.

PowderPoint oysters and homemade crab cake we’re good. Lobster roll were ok. They were not buttered lobster meat. It was Mayo based with celery and some sort of spices. Stuffed generously. To be honest they were rather dry. There are other fast food options like grilled cheese and curly fries. Drinks are beer and wines and no cocktails. Beer served in a can and other non-alcoholic beverage presented in plastic bottles. Wine served airplane style as small bottle with plastic dental cup. Plastic ware and paper plates are used.

Fresh and yummy food, friendliest hostesses and servers, outdoor and indoor (with air coming through) sitting – all at this gem located right on the ocean ! The day we found this restaurant, we have been back every weekend! Some of our family favorites are: freshest oysters , New England lobster with steamers, corn and fries combo ($21 only!), crab fritters, and fish bites! Cant wait for the nest season

They show up as open on Google Maps from noon, showed up during the working hours and everything was sort of closed, the woman who was working there said they open at 5…but she was prepping togo food it looked like, she was quite rude, saying “we post our hours on Facebook”. Ok lol, the equivalent of MySpace.
