I’ve been here before and I’d would’ve given it a 4. It was pretty good. I came here for lunch today with my two daughters, and got right in. It was busy but not at capacity and there was no wait. Our server was great, however the food took a full hour to come out. They new they were way behind in the kitchen and rather than give us a friendly warning (something like, hey folks, we’re a bit backed up in the kitchen, it may take longer than normal for the food to come out) they sat us knowing full well there was a problem. As soon as we sat down, the table next to us walked out because their food never came. The right thing to do here is to have the manager come out, and at least apologize and acknowledge that they’re doing a bad job. Some other reviews reflect the same issue. If our server wasn’t so nice, I would’ve walked out. One hour for a kids hot dog, chicken sandwich and a buffalo chicken wrap is insane. This time it was a 2 rating but since my last visit was a 4, I averaged it.

Well I am a cider connoisseur and love blakes!! Being from southwest Florida we only have a small selection. Well I made the trip to blakes because it was on my bucket list oddly enough and during the winter, well folks… ITS A MUST of things to do in Michigan!!! To start the service from Morgan was beyond exceptional !!! Hands down the best bartender and service I have ever been welcomed with!! So if you decide to attend ask for morgan and tell him Bobby said to ask for him!! For was amazing and the amount of ciders and wines to try was amazing!! Not one I didn’t like!! I’m not a wine fan, but.. after having the wines from here.. I absolutely love blakes wine!! The tasting room is very home like and all all staff were extremely nice and welcoming!! I wish I could more than 5 for this place!! Kudos to all of you!! Now get more flavors to Florida!!

This place mostly deserves a 5 star. Great beers and food and service…. however… They got rid of the fish and chips and the sidewinder fries.. the sidewinder fries were worth the drive alone… THEY GOT RID OF THEM . We will not be back until the sidewinder fries are, and my review will stand until then. Horrible decision!

We go there all the time, food is so good, however the service is hit or miss. It’s never consistent, they take there time to serve you, the managers hang out at the end of the bar on their laptops with their energy drinks in hand instead of helping. I’ve noticed if you sit outside you get better service. There is a waitress there she has been there awhile she is really good I can’t remember her name though. Hopefully they can get their team together on the service

We’ve been coming here for years, food was always mid. However, yesterday was TERRIBLE!! It took the server 10-15 mins to take our orders, keep in mind it wasn’t busy. We had 10 guest everybody food was horrible, the dining area INSIDE was full FLIES and BEE’s. Water was dripping on my friend from the air vent, It was hot AF as well! Wine flights were served in PLASTIC CUPS, really?!?

Tasting room is an interesting Place. It had a simplest design within the inside. The service was okay. It took some time to get one of the bartender’s attention. One of them was great.

We have gone to Blake’s Tasting Room several times and it never disappoints. However, our experience this evening topped them all. Our waitress Dani took such good care of our family!! She was friendly, responsive, and very thoughtful. We drive 90 minutes to come to Blake’s and having a great waitress just made our experience that much more worth it!!

First trip to this establishment, it was comfortable and enjoyable till it became overcrowded. The drinks and the food were worth the trip. It was a slightly upscale feel in a rustic environment. Our main server behind the bar still had a lot of learning to do. The other bartender was very knowledgeable and informative about all that they had to offer. I will definitely be making another trip again.
