If you order take out, your call is likely to be answered by someone named PEGGY. How can you tell? She will take your order and it will still be wrong because she refused to repeat your order back to you (and Hung Up on you instead, saying Don’t worry I got your order right!) So when you go pickup your order you will have to wait another 20-25 minutes for it to be cooked. This was the third time this has happened to me or my wife.

Mother’s Day lunch with Hubby. Our FIRST VISIT here. Ordered Fish Bites, Shrimp & Grits, Hamburger Steak, Salads, and Sweet Tea. Food was so good, we went BACK for DESSERT (Chocolate Brownie Sundae). Enjoyed every bite. Planning to return soon.

We gave this place a try on a Friday at lunchtime. It had just opened the doors, so only a few diners. My wife ordered mushroom Swiss burger and raw fries. I got 10 wings Napalm sauce and raw fries. I try hot wings at a alot of places, and I am always asking for their hottest. I see names like Atomic wings and Super Smoking Hot, and I’m almost always disappointed to find their version of hot is not all that hot. Blaney Wings Napalm wings are freaking hot. They were so good! They are so hot that four hours later, you will find yourself in a small room, sitting on a toilet with sweat running into your eyes, as you pray to Jesus that it’s almost over. But it’s worth it. YOU HAVE TO SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES.

Blaneys backyard grille is a classic spot in Elgin. When the SC gamecocks are playing, the spot is rocking. We went afterwards, 8pm, with a smaller crowd. We ordered burgers, one was jalapeno and one cheese. First thing I noticed was how great the burgers smelt – outstanding. The taste, great. The staff was attentive. We will be going back.

Though our frequency changes, we’ve been going here for YEARS! Without much to choose from in the area we’re certainly glad to have them just down the street. The food is always great, and just as important consistent, the service is excessively top tier, to which I must give credit to Amanda (their main bartender is amazing) as we always sit at the bar /bar area. My recommendations are the “chicken Philly in a wrap” or “pimento cheeseburger add bacon”
