This place has the best barbecue ever. I put on a large Hawaiian luau. I only wanted the best barbecue which I knew was Blazing Trails BBQ. I did pulled pork and it was absolutely delicious my guests went on and on about how delicious the barbecue was and where was it from. Thank you for the amazing food Blazing Trails BBQ.

I’ve been to Memphis and Kansas City. I’ve lived in St. Louis. I’ve eaten a lot of bbq in my day. I can confidently say that Blazing Trails is as good or better than the others I’ve had from any of the famous bbq cities. The brisket is magical. The smoked turkey is top notch. The potato salad is perfect. You can’t go wrong with anything here. Do yourself a favor and go get you some.

We had Blazing Trails cater my 60th birthday party. We got the bq, baked beans, potato salad, and cole slaw. It was amazing! The guests keep saying how great it was. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the owner. Highly recommend. Would give it more stars if I could.

Had the brisket, creamed corn, and Mac and cheese. The brisket is lovely. Flavorful, not dry, so good. The sauce is even better. I got mild, it’s de-lightful. The Mac and cheese is bomb. If you like some thick southern goodness, it’s for you. The flavor is unexpected, not too strong, and so good. The creamed corn was like corn in white gravy, worth every calorie. I was craving BBQ today and I am 10/10 satisfied. The guy cooking even gave a hearty Yee-Haw before I left and what else can you really ask for, you know?

This is absolutely hands down the best BBQ you’ll find in all of Southern Illinois, and most of the country at that! Everything is awesome but I would highly suggest the brisket and spicy mac n cheese.
