Do you want real, down home cooking? Well you’d better stop at the Bledsoe diner. I don’t know what provoked us to stop here, but it was a good stop. The people are extremely nice, service is great, and the food is not bad. It is real southern comfort kind of food, no fake mashed potatoes here. Betsy had a Salisbury steak that was actually really good. I had of loaded baked potato, and it was a real potato! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the bathrooms were clean and the service was good. The prices were good also.

Freshly made mashed potatoes and onion rings. Good quality rib eye steak and hamburger steak. Best unsweetened ice tea (not bitter at all). Reasonably priced for what we got. Be sure to come earlier on weekdays and Sunday. (They close at 3PM CT.) They only open until 9PM CT on Friday and Saturday.

Had to wait nearly an hour for food. Dirty poorly run. First and last time to visit there. Not even creamer for coffee. Just powdered high fructose corn syrup. Never seen such a bad restaurant.
