First off, the food isn’t bad, it’s just average… thus 3 stars. The ribs were decent and the burn ends were good, but the brisket was lacking. I tend to judge every BBQ joint based on the brisket. This was moist, but in a watery way that left it still feeling dry and overcooked on the pallet. For sides I had the coleslaw and broccoli. Broccoli was cooked perfectly, but overly salted. The slaw was OK, but I prefer a more traditional slaw like what you’d find at a family picnic.

I ordered to go. They told me it would take 25 minutes or text me.. it takes me 20 minutes to get to the store. Three to five minutes after I placed my order they sent a text saying my order was ready for pick up. I’m not willing to pay for old food so I asked them to remake it at the store. They gave me the same bag that they had had sitting up there for over 40 minutes and told me that they made it fresh. The chips taste like old fryer greese, and the burnt ends taste like they were burnt and re-burnt and re-burnt about a week ago. The cheese sauce looks like and tastes like thick milk! Yuck!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! I love KC BBQ.. this is not it!

Some of the BEST BBQ I’ve had in the KC area! The burnt ends melt in your mouth and are a volcano of smoky flavor, the Whiskey Beans were unbelievable along with the fries and onion straws. BBQ sauce tangy and delicious. AMAZING!

So nobody has ever recommended this spot to me. I’ve tried almost all KC spots & found this one on Google. They have 2 locations. I checked out this one for lunch and let me tell you, it was pretty good! The burnt ends were juicy and good. The Mac n cheese was good. But they had some cheesy corn that was incredible. The burnt end samwich was great and there was a sandwich I tried called the Notorious PIG. So good! I’d go back for sure!

Great customer service from Lizbeth. Fries were okay could have been fresher, they had definitely been sitting for awhile. Had the smoked wings, really tasty. Smoked brisket was grisly but flavorful, had to cut a lot of fat off. The ham was really good as was the carrot cake cupcake.
