I ate here to celebrate my last weekend in the bay this summer, and I was extremely impressed! The ambiance was very classy, and the food was delicioussss. We got the ribeye, lamp lollipops, calamari, and shishito peppers. The large portion sizes really surprised us.

I’ve been to Blind Butcher 2 times, one time for brunch, one time for dinner. Maybe because during the brunch time we had bottomless mimosas, when I am a bit tipsy, everything feels wonderful. After I head back for dinner, different menu , I did order wine, but possibly not enough, the dinner steak just feel average.

Great restaurant with excellent service from the time you walk in. Located in a fabulous area of Castro. We had superior service as soon as we walked in. We were seated then immediately given menu and asked about drinks . Drinks were served then we ordered food promptly. Food was served hot and beautifully prepared and was delicious. We had the pork chop with wine reduction sauce and spaghetti with wagyu Meatballs it was amazing. I highly recommend this business .

From start to finish the Blind Butcher was a great experience on a Thursday evening. Reserving for 4 people was easy in Open Table(Rating 5/5). You must try the following items since they’re a 5/5: Brussel Sprouts, Lobster and Truffle Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Prime Rib and Shishito Peppers.

This place is amazing. The restaurant is well designed with art work and decor that give it a rustic look and feel. We had brunch there, and had the best ribeye steak we ever had. And their bottomless mimosa is really bottomless and it’s very good quality mimosa. Moreover, the staff was super friendly and attentive with great service. We came back again for dinner a month later, and the meat was again flawless. And I wouldn’t get anything else besides their beef…

The food was incredible! We started with a slab of house-butchered meats, including filet mignonette and ribeye. The meat was cooked to perfection and was so tender it melted in our mouths. We also had lobster mac n cheese, which was creamy and cheesy with a generous amount of lobster. And the truffle French fries were the perfect way to end the meal.
