Well, I was looking for pulled pork in every state while on our journey. For Georgia, this place was not in a city but made the pulled pork better. Mine came with a slice of sweet pickle. That added to the taste, so I asked for more. It comes with plenty of extra sauce on the side and was not saturated right out of the kitchen so I could add as much as I desired. The building had the old-time piggy charm that I was looking for. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular stop.

I dined-in for a late lunch at 1:15pm. When I walked in there were a few people. It was quiet. The staff was really nice and sweet. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. While I waited they had peanuts(free for dine-in or 1.50 if you take out). The food was good! I loved the backed beans and the fries(you need to ask for them extra crispy, it makes them so much better!) The sauce was one of my favorite parts. The meat was a little dry. They had the football game going. Overall the staff was very nice and I would go back again!

Delicious BBQ and crispy potato slices!! Has the stickiest floor I have ever walked on. My flip flop literally stuck to the floor and came off my foot when I stepped backward. This is the only restaurant open for lunch within miles of the lake. So we were very grateful. PS. Wash yo floors..

Excellent food. The best fries we’ve had in a long time. The burger was flavorful and tender. The pulled pork was delicious. Above and beyond in customer service. We had our pup with us and without us mentioning it they suggested the back porch with a happy pup set up with a shoulder bone and his own water.

We tried a new bbq place in Jackson & were so disappointed with the food & serving size. We are back with the blind pig, whose bbq is the best in Butts County & the portions are generous! Worth the short drive!!!

Came here for lunch before showing property. Amazing spot by the lake to fuel up on some good ole’ southern BBQ! Wonderful experience. PSA – The Brunswick Stew and BBQ (Pork) Sandwhich will knock your socks off!!!
