Hungry after an early morning drop off at O’Hare we happened across Blondies Diner in nearby River Grove. Absolutely old school atmosphere and super service. The Garden Scrambler and Breakfast Burrito were super good. Seemed like everyone there were regulars. Top notch, definitely a five star little one-off diner.

First, I had this place about a year ago and the food was terrible. I decided to give it another try based on the other reviews. This time, we didn’t even make it to the food. We walked in. No greeting and just waited around. About 3 minutes, the lady looked at us and rudely said, “It’ll be a while.” We left. Too many other places around to tolerate nonsense.
