This place has a ton of reviews and highly recommended. My review is from someone who enjoys bbq once in a while but not a big fan of meat. My husband enjoys meat and said he truly enjoyed everything and said his favorite was the fried rice and jerk pulled pork tacos. I personally think their brisket burnt tips are too fatty I like the crunchy burnt tips. The cucumber salad was ok and the okra was good. Mac and cheese is sharp and the smoked chicken wings were ok. The restaurant table was not cleaned off and the personnel (lady at the register) was very short and not attentive or personable. The guys grabbing your sides were more pleasant but still felt rushed. The place is small so most people come in and take home.

Classic Texas Top 50 – moist, simply seasoned brisket, homemade sausage, and a variety of sides, from traditional (jalapeno slaw) to fancy (fried Brussels sprouts). No line at 1 PM on a Friday, possibly because the building is being remodeled and obscures the front. Plenty of parking. Cheap craft beer. Excellent.

I was excited to finally get to try this place. I didn’t see a plate option, just sides, meat by the pound, and sandwiches. I asked if I could do a 2 meat plate and the guy fixing the sides said it was doable. I got Mac and Cheese and Brisket fried rice as my sides. I wanted to try their gouchujang pork ribs and brisket. At the register I learned they don’t actual do plates. If someone ask for a plate, 9 times out of 10 you know their expecting a combo. So if you don’t sell your food that way you should mention that when they ask for a plate. Every thing is sold individually.

Great bbq. I had a beef rib, mac & chz & brisket fried rice. My bf had the brisket chzburger w/potato salad. The meat was fantastic & fall-off-the-bone juicy. The sides (brisket rice excluded) were bland, unfortunately. Will go back to try the burnt ends & glazed ribs that they were out of

Amazing food! The fried rice was delicious! First time here and an amazing experience. The wait wasn’t long, the food was phenomenal, the staff was friendly and inviting. I highly recommend this place! We stopped by for Friday Thai day. A few items were already sold out! So had the brisket burger, great coarse texture and juicy for a smoked burger. The ribs and the sliced brisket were also moist.

Stopped by to try their Brisket plate. Brisket was tender and moist with a nice bark and excellent texture, one of the best in Houston. Though the smoky flavor of the meat was mild and a little bit less than what I prefer. The sides were average and noting special. Service was very friendly. Price was 50% higher than average BBQ plate in Houston. Overall, a good place if you want to get a good BBQ without staying in line for long.
