I came in here yesterday to try there Mussel’s, they were fantastic I ate out on the deck and the staff was fantastic, this is an appetizer serving. I was pleasantly surprised on how generous the portion was. The Lavender lemonade is a must, I would have bought a bottle of that if it was available 🙂 As I was checking out I realized I knew the gal that came out to ask how I liked my meal. Apparently they are dog friendly for outside dining 🙂 I will bring Charlie next time 🙂

It’s a really great place the people are amazing and greet you well! I had the muscles my wife had the tomato soup we also had the bread that they handed out complimentary. It was all so fantastic!

We had such a lovely time. The restaurant and garden are beautiful, the food was exceptional, and the staff were so warm & friendly. It was just a really top notch experience. Thank you for the great food and memorable evening, I will certainly be spreading the word!!

Nice bistro and winery in Freeland, Whidbey Island,Washington State. Stopped by for lunch. There is a smallish menu selection for lunch, including vegetarian options, offering a tapas style menu. The olives, mussels and house-smoked salmon are delicious and I would recommend these. There are a couple of salads on the menu too. We had a slight problem with our salads but the staff handled it well and therefore I am not taking any stars off. There was not a huge amount of flexibility to adapt the menu for food intolerances but all ingredients are listed on the menu. There is a wine tasting selection too – we had the White Flight which has tastings of 4 white wines and was also good. Large deck at the back of the restaurant which is lovely but we had to change to indoors due to wasps.

Delicious from start to finish. Warm, friendly service. The grounds are beautiful! The highlight item was the ‘Catch of the Day’ which was a well prepared Cod fillet. Try the Poetic red blend wine.

Terrible experience at this place. We made reservations for 5pm and arrived promptly. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited 1hr and 20 min before 2 of our 3 orders came out. My friend’s asparagus was way over cooked and limp. Her salmon was old and fishy tasting. She sent it back. I never even got my order. The server said the reason for the delay was all the take out orders that were ahead of us. There only a few customers there when we arrived. Very disappointed with this place. Maybe only do take out? Needless to say we left hungry. Never going back and can not recommend it to anyone.
