My husband & I ate there for the first time this evening. We ordered 2 brisket platters w/ sides & the food was excellent, the young lady who took our order was sweet & the owner even came out & introduced himself & thanked us for coming. They are open Thursday through Saturday, 11AM until 7PM. If you eat there, you are eating on the deck, but it’s great because we were able to bring our well behaved, leashed dog. This is barbecue that makes your mouth water & the collard greens, baked beans & cole slaw were all great. We’ll be back!

Nice place to stop. Friendly and quick. Atmosphere was great. Beans and brisket sandwich were good. Pit beef a little to smokey and shaved too thin, making it a little dry. Slaw needs some flavor.

I will try and give this place another shot, but my food tasted very bland. My baked beans tasted like they were poured straight out of a can with no touch up. The Mac & Cheese tasted like they were straight out of a box which no touch up – not even any salt. And the real disappointment was the Pit Beef; it was extremely dry and chewy. I thought slathering it in sauce would help, but it didn’t. And, the BBQ tasted like cheap Kraft brand. I wanted this place to be a home run because it’s local and people are friendly, but the food was flavorless, bland, and dry.

Nice place,nice people,good food! Fries are sooooo good along with the pit beef and brisket. The red beans and rice was the best I had! Could add a little more to the portions,but other than that this place has really good food.

Drove all the way from Montreal, Canada to taste this BBQ and it was all worth it. Food is delicious and the staff is very nice. The owner took time with my BBQ smoker fan boyfriend to explain how his smokers work.

Pretty good food. I’ve only been there once, having passed by on my way to and from work. Big hearty sandwiches, tender, juicy meat. And I know it’s smoked meat, but it tasted a little over smoky to me. Otherwise, it was really good.
