Recommended, reliable steakhouse in the UES. Warm and welcoming ambience, attentive and friendly staff, and lots to choose from in an updated menu. We sat at the bar with friendly service and good cocktails from Dan. We enjoyed the pop overs, filet mignon, potato and burger with perfrctly crispy fries. Everything was good, the filet was excellent and popovers are always a highlight. Enjoy!

Comfortable chairs and large tables. I like the wood feel to the place. and with the Large tables you can have nice conversations without feeling like all your neighbors are just listening to you, instead of enjoying themselves. The Bar is a good size and the Bartender is very personable. Nice to just stop in there and sit at the bar, you can order off there complete menu and enjoy your meal in a more casual way. You must try this Steak House if you live in the area. You will be happy you did.

A delightful experience. We dropped in without a reservation and were shown to a lovely corner table. David, our server was the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. What a lovely evening my partner and I had!! The popovers were fresh and hot – the service extraordinarily awesome from the moment we sat down. They recognized we were celebrating and nothing disappointed. The shrimp cocktail beautifully fresh and chill, the salad huge! The porterhouse was so tender and flavorful- plus the sides were exquisitely complemented the meal! We were so pleased with everything and had way too much food put into bags for home!! We loved everything and will be back!!

Outstanding! Came here for the first time, and as someone that loves restaurants! I am in disbelieve of such an amazing place. The ambiance, the attention the delicious food. Dan made us feel like at home. He carefully listens to your favorite and not so favorable rite drinks or foods and is able to make only the best recommendations. Very chic yet welcoming bar-restaurant. The bar is especially comfy place to have dinner. They used to have a Kansas City steak cut that was out of this world but which for reasons only known to the chef, they no longer have this on the menu so I would or instead the Cowboy steak. Steak is there thing and their creamed spinach is from heaven. It is not a “pick-up’ bar but older people and younger people naturally socialize with strangers at the bar.

I went to their “Summer of Spritz” HH special with a few girl friends after work on Friday and it was amazing! We ordered the Aperol Spritz with appetizers. The apps we got were so so delicious and perfect for sharing. The tuna tar tar is a must! Our server Dan was so friendly and helpful with the menu. Tyler the manager also came over and was very hospitable and charming. Will definitely be back soon!
