We had an amazing dinner here including drinks at bar, appetizers, dinner and wine. The smoked fish dip on homemade crackers was the best we have ever had. The food was excellent. Washington is lucky to have this gem. We wanted to sit on the patio but sat inside due to the heat. Would recommend changing the lighting in the restaurant on main level, it was too bright.

The service my girlfriend & I received was impeccable. “G”, our bartender made me a great white Russian & then he became our waiter. I have to say, he excelled in both positions! The food was great too. I’ve attached 2 pictures of our dishes we had.

Ambience and food was amazing! What lacked was the front of house and server staff. Don’t question my online reservation when the restaurant is 1/3 full. That ended up being okay as we got an amazing seat for a birthday lunch. The server for our table and the two beside us however made the experience less than par. The check back time was totally off. I need 120-180 seconds to decide on my next order. Not 10 minutes! We would have decided on deserts and maybe more had the servers returned to their tables in a timely fashion.

Wonderful server, but food very disappointing. Ribs were so overcooked and tough, my husband was really struggling trying to eat them. I would have sent them back, but he didn’t. I ordered a vegetable pasta dish which was very expensive for what I got. I asked for bread, and was told they don’t have bread. If you go, know that your entree is just that;no bread, no salad, no sides. While the pasta was tasty, it was not worth the price. Only getting one star because the staff was friendly and server very attentive. We won’t be back. This is the first time I’ve ever given a bad review

Well, we did not have a great meal there. We took our out of town guest there Saturday night. We had reservations and were seated right away. We waited over ten minutes to get a menu, they did not have enough menus, and could not print more. We ordered drinks, mine a Jim Bean and diet, came as Jameson and diet. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 dinners to share

Disappointing experience. Went here for my birthday dinner with my wife on a Friday night. We arrived at 5pm. Ordered blue cheese chips, pork belly and the filet. Once our food came, our waiter disappeared. Filet was rare and very stringy, ended up struggling to get attention of any staff (we were only ones there). Once I said it was undercooked, they asked if I wanted it cooked more… a few minutes later my same steak was returned, cooked better but still very stringy.

What an Amazing new place for Washington! Customer service is what brings people in and back and they are simply Awesome! They knoooow their stuff! Upstairs view and atmosphere was off the charts very cozy! Have Sara Matt make you her smoked bourbon old fashioned, you’ll thank me later!! Thank you Blu for an amazing experience! PS- if you love pimento cheese this is the place for you! We’ll be back!
