First time here. My grilled chicken quesadilla meal was excellent. My margarita perfect. Service great and super friendly. I sat on porch. Big thanks!

We travel all over the country, and have discovered that generally, Mexican food is more reliable than most other types. However, this time we were disappointed in the food. We came here based on the good reviews, which obviously are over rated. The food was pretty bland with the exception of way too much salt. Don’t waste your time and money here.

The food was pretty typical of most Mexican restaurants that I’ve been to, though a little higher in price. I’m giving 5 stars because I LOVED our waitress! She had the best personality and provided top notch service! Thanks!!

Great spot off I95 in a little cute town along the water. Most of the seating is in an outdoor screened in porch. Lunch was very tasty, reasonably priced and the owner was super friendly! Highly recommend to anyone passing through on I95 who wants something other than chain food! Nice spot to take a walk as well

Great “hole in the wall” Mexican spot! Food was good, and our waitress was very friendly. Only concern were the cups…looked dirty and felt sticky. Otherwise, they would have gotten 5-stars. We’d definitely come back if passing through.

The food and service was good, but the poor A/C inside was barely working, and the tables were all kinda rickety. Some $ spent on upgrading the place a bit (and cleaning up the front yard area) would probably go a long way.

Travellers, this is a wonderful local mexican restaurant with outstanding food. Our lunch, tacos asados, was delicious. The restaurant was very busy and folks eating in the restaurant were talking about the outstanding food. This is a full and extensive mexican restaurant with all kinds of tacos, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas, with seafood, meat, and chicken options. Our tacos had real steak which was great. The restaurant has a perfect, score of 100 from the board of health which is posted on the wall. They even have hamburgers and other fare, as well as an ice cream stand for folks who don’t want the Mexican food. But try it. Check it out. We recommend.

Seated fairly promptly and was delivered salsa and chips by a young man. We perused our menus and another couple was seated about 5 minutes after us. The same boy brought them their salsa and chips and asked them for their drink order. He walked by us and I tried to get his attention, but to no avail. He walked by us again a few times. We finally decided to leave. So, this review was service related and not about the food. Sorry to say …

What you get here is traditional Mexican food, but more than that is a comfortable atmosphere with a South Georgia appeal. Very relaxed environment, attentive staff, and good food. We especially like the tamales! Choose to sit either inside or outside on a screened porch. It’s one of the few Darien restaurants, but it’s worth the drive to get away from the obnoxious crowds. Nice for a relaxing evening dinner.

Called in an order for salsa and queso, told them I was in a hurry to please have it ready. Took them well over 20 mins to prepare after a 20 min drive there. I believe they were the only Mexican restaurant NOT packed on Cinco De Mayo….
