Had a great meal at Blue Buddha on a ski trip out here. Place was recommended by a local we met. Please get the yum yum bombs for dessert (not pictured).

Great service. I tried the twist roll, it was fresh and delicious. The California, Now and Zen, Lone Peak, and Down River rolls were also amazing. Finally for dessert I tried the Yum Yum Bombs which are to die for, I’ve never had anything like it. The service remained steady throughout the peak of their dinner rush, and our server was fast and helpful.

Rex is the man. You need to try to Rex roll which is a special off menu roll made by their head chef Rex. He is a true artist with amazing taste and excellent service. Sit at the sushi bar and enjoy a special experience.

Excellent food and service. Every dish was fantastic! The deep-fried Oreos were out of this world, the sushi was fantastic As was everything else! Would highly recommend!

Food (that we had) was good but service really off. Ordered first round of sushi and took over 1 hour to get it, ordered additional sushi and after 30 more mins cancelled it after we were told the chefs hadn’t started it.

Quality service and great atmosphere. We loved everything we ordered. Edamame, Lake Powell Roll, Weekend at Burnie’s, Pow Surfer Roll and Enter Salmon Roll.

What a joke. Already our expectation for ski mountain sushi is about as low as it gets but wow. What a mess. Food was incredibly late, the shiahito peppers were totally raw on the inside but blackened and charred on the outside. They smelled like burned rubber and we had to ask the waiter to remove them from the table. Everything has unagi sauce on it (sweet sauce) so you’re not even tasting the food itself. Restaurant was only 1/4 full so we were confused as to why the food never came. Now we’ve been here 2 hrs and are too angry to wait any longer for the main meal.

34 (yes for real) bottles of hot saki later… Fun spot. Good food. Good service. Little lounge bar in the front is a great hangout while waiting. Worth the trip! Make reservations way in advance..

Never a good sign when the best part of the restaurant is the music playing. We already had low expectations of a landlocked sushi restaurant, but this was unbearable. Painfully, ridiculously, comically slow service. Sushi you would expect to find at an airport in Oklahoma. But of course all for the price of a high-end sushi restaurant in Manhattan. Far and away the worst meal we had in big sky. With so many great restaurants around here this place should be avoided at all costs. I just hope I don’t get sick from this god awful meal.
