The service at blue fin was very exceptional. We were greeted, seated, and offered drinks promptly. After ordering, our food came out very quickly, but it was all cooked as it should be. The edamame could’ve used a bit more salt or flavor, but they were still excellent. The kids nuggets and fries were okay. The sushi was amazing though, so for a sushi and hibachi place, they know what they’re doing. I did get a side of just noodles for the kids and it was just okay. Overall we were very satisfied.

We had a wonderful time here. The food came out at a timely manner, and the food was delicious. I got the American dream sushi roll, which was awesome, and the drunken noodles and the seaweed salad everything was made to perfection.

My husband and I stopped here for our anniversary dinner at around 4 PM or so on a Sunday. There were only a couple other people there, so we got a table immediately. Well, a booth, and when we went to sit down, we realized that it was a tight squeeze to even get in the booth, so we moved to a table. We got the wings for an appetizer and they were alright, pretty standard fare. I got the Hiroshima Roll as well, and we both got Hibachi dinners. The Hiroshima Roll was excellent, and the soup and salad were delicious. I got steak and shrimp, and my husband got chicken. I did order noodles instead of rice, but they gave me rice anyways. It was still good, but I think the server was new, or needed some help. It was super tasty either way, and a pretty good portion, although I’d like to see more meat for an almost $30 plate. I think if you come here, the sushi is really what you should get! Overall, didn’t disappoint, and we would come back!

Great food made from scratch. Best yumyum sauce and ginger dressing I’ve ever had. I was told that they make their teriyaki sauce for the hibachi from scratch also. Their sushi is some of the yes in Lake County.

We stopped by for lunch. Lots of varieties on the menu and reasonable prices. We ordered Vegetable Tempura, Eel and Salmon Nigiri, Seaweed Salad, and a Salmon Hibachi plate. Service was good as well. Interesting place!

Blue Fin was amazing, the food was fresh and flavorful, the customer service was a 10 and the restaurant was clean. And it wasn’t expensive at all. We will be back. I’m in love. Fyi if you’re fluffy opt for a table not a booth lol

Went there for the first time today, best Asian place in mentor to eat. I got the Sweet Potato sushi roll, and the steak hibachi dinner and both were nothing less than perfect. The cooks are incredible. So authentic. The steak was cooked so well and the flavor was out of this world. The sweet potato roll was delicious and crunchy!!

Oh my, my, my, Sushi! A foodies Dream! My experience at Blue Fin was an absolute joy. The quality was wonderful, the portions did not leave me wanting, and the presentation was lovely. Images below to help you decide if you would like to go. I know I will be going back often. update…I have come back and it is not a fluke, it is the best Sushi in Mentor! best in town, out of town, and I dare you to prove me wrong. Upon additional visits I have discovered it is not just the sushi that is great. Try the spicy Green Curry has just enough heat. Each time there is some new flavor and joy for your mouth.
