The service and the food at Blue Koi was excellent! Everything was fresh and freshly made. The atmosphere is cute and quaint. All it needs is a bar ! My family and I will absolutely be returning. As long as the experience is consistent, I see no reason why dining in will be hard if you don’t get there early!

My husband and I ordered Hibachi for take out and although the food was good, the portions were very disappointing. There wasn’t enough rice in the bowls and we got a lot more veggies than meats we chose for our meal. We paid almost $70 for the food but did not think the portions were appropriate for the price.

My mom and I went this afternoon. Wow amazing! I didn’t get a picture of the shrimp fried rice, but it was so delicious! The sushi was top notch as well. Cynthia was our server, and she was awesome! 10/10 recommend so excited this place opened! New fav local spot!

Great food and service. Conveniently located in the Tom Thumb parking lot, but far away from the busy streets of Ralph Hall and other central Rockwall locations. Amazing food selection, great taste, and the presentation is great. I got a chef’s nigiri sampler, gyoko (fried dumplings), and the Unagi Don (grilled eel on rice). Your meal also comes with miso soup and a salad, so plan your appetite accordingly. If I had to knock anything, since they are brand new, the overall decor is still being fleshed out and somewhat sparse. But if you want a great sushi shop, this is it.

Sushi in heath! It’s nice having this option close. I got the nigiri and shashimi plate, taste was good. The rice is very sticky and delicious. Portions were a little small compared to what you can get in Rockwall. The green tea is also served from a packet, and it doesn’t quite hit the spot like fresh leaves. Otherwise 5 stars.

This is not worth it. Drive on up to Tokyo Harbor in Forney because this was disappointing. It’s not a real hibachi place. It was salty, you barely get into rice in the container (like it’s not even close to filled up) and the yum yum sauce is white and sour. Unacceptable for price.
