Loved everything about this place! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, they make you feel like family. Michelle was our server both (yes both) times we came and she is amazing! She recommended everything we had, including the Bourbon Street and the Crab Croissant. The chef/owner is Jamaican and seasons everything to perfection. You will not be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of dining at Blue Mahoe and trying their delicious Pork and Grits dish. The service was outstanding, and I must give a special shoutout to our server, Ann, who truly made the experience memorable. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had a friendly demeanor that added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Ann’s exceptional service definitely deserves recognition, and she’s a key reason why I’m eager to visit Blue Mahoe again. As for the Pork and Grits, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was cooked to perfection. A definite must-try!

We love Blue Mahoe. It is our preferred brunch place in Destin. Quality in everything. Flavor in every bite. Customer service is great each time. Everything from egg white omelet to the sandwiches and the pancakes etc. Amazing! We love to support small local businesses like ours and we hope this one stays for years to come!

Didn’t realize this place was opened until my husband and I came to have breakfast with our daughter last week. The food was delicious. Bourbon Street (chicken and waffles) was AMAZING! Husband got potatoes and pork belly and even then that was so so good. Our server Aaliyah was super attentive and took good care of us. The building could use a little cosmetic work to look a little more appealing to the eye, but the food is where it’s at. We paid a little over $50 for the 3 of us, two platters and the kids french toast that was $12.

We come to Destin annually and this will be added to the roster. We had the crab croissant, which was tasty and FRESH! The waffle was made from the perfect batter. The pork belly grits were great. They made prefect accommodations for now I like my bacon cooked, and it all washed down well wish a strawberry mango mimosa. Top it off with attentive and friendly service from Marta. Great way to start the vacay.

So I just spent 4 mornings in Destin for my birthday and upon arriving this place was recommended by my cousin and his wife. They had been here on a previous visit to Destin. We went Friday morning and the food was so great we came back two more times. I got the Bourbon Street which is the chicken and waffles. It is a luscious coconut Belgian waffle with crispy fried tenders and topped with a bourbon honey butter sauce. This is the perfect combination. The presentation was great, but it tasted even better than it looked. It is SOOOOOOO great. Good would be an extreme understatement. It was literally the best waffle I have ever eaten. It was nice and fluffy. Our server Chelsea was very attentive to us and offered recommendations on menu items as well as keeping our glasses full. Great service. The next morning we had a different server. She was great as well. I didn’t catch her name. I had the Old 98 which two eggs, two strips of bacon and choice of either country fries (called home fries in some parts), coconut grits or homemade biscuit. I chose the grits and combined with my eggs for a nice southern breakfast. We didn’t go out the next morning as we ate our leftovers from the previous two nights. On our final morning before departing I stopped by once again and Michelle was my server. She was great as well. She brought me a sample of their hot sauce which was flavorful. They sell jars of it. I should have bought one. I will next time. It would be great to toss some wings in. Michelle was very friendly. I will definitely be back…..multiple times again on my next trip down to Destin. I HIGHLY recommend anyone that visits the area to go here.
