The Best Chicken Sandwich in the Country! The Mighty Buffalo. It traditionally comes with blue cheese. I’m not a blue cheese fan. I swap it for ranch dressing and add pickles and onions. It’s amazing. A perfect harmony between creamy ranch, acidic pickles and onions, lettuce and tomato, all riding a crispy fresh-fried chicken breast tossed in buffalo sauce.

I feel this hidden gem is missed by a lot of people due to the location. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always an excellent experience. The fried fish and chicken sandwiches are my favorites. They keep expanding the menu to add variety and the employees are always courteous and helpful. Do NOT pass up a chance to dine here!

The sandwich I had was the Fried Walleye which is very good. They offered Gumbo, at first I was not sure how authentic it would be as I have had instants were a restaurant says Cajun food and it is Creole or just not up to par. I got a sample of the Gumbo and asked were the individual was from who made it. Louisiana was what he told me and tasting the Gumbo he made was exactly how a Cajun home would make it.

Cute little family owned shop that is extremely friendly! The inside atmosphere is clean and they have a little patio out back if you want a side of suntan with your sub! The staff is very nice and focused as well; everything tasted fresh and was made to order quick & efficiently. My friend got a second sandwich after loving the first so much (first was Italian, second was walleye) and both were fantastic. We craved this shop for the rest of our trip! Definitely a must try if you’re in this area!

Gem! Hole in the wall find! Entire menu looks fantastic. Roast Beef sandwich is absolutely delicious! Also highly recommend the tomato soup. Looking forward to coming back.

Clean store. Fod came out fast and the staff was friendly. There was a nice area outside to sit with umbrellas for shade. The food was all reasonably priced and everyone enjoyed theirs. The selection was great, pretty much all the standard sandwiches you see plus a few with a nice twist. I will be coming back here any time I’m hungry for a sandwich!

Nice local place to stop in for lunch. Great service and great food. We had the Italian sandwich and the Sawmill and both were amazing! The Sawmill was my favorite, the bread and chicken were excellent. Tried the Tomatoe basil soup as well and that was also great. Also, had to try their shakes as well. Had the chocolate shake and it was excellent. Excellent stop and loved all the MN local photography around the restaurant. All the workers were helpful in their recommendations and they were all friendly and great to work with.

Went here while waiting for my car’s oil change. Best recommendation! Had the walleye sandwich, a gyro and shared an order of fries. Everything was made to order – fresh, flavorful and hot. Staff was very friendly, too. Even though it’s not in our area, we will definitely go back.

Wow. Seriously cannot wait to come back and try more from this place and I just left! I got the Swamp Thing, let my husband have a bite and all he could say was “that’s a good F’n Sandwich”, but much less family friendly. He got the Buffalo and swapped the blue cheese dressing for chipotle Mayo. Good choice and recommended. The Buffalo flavor is subtle l, the chicken was soft, and the breading on the chicken is such a nice texture.
