WOW! Excellent seafood! We had the beet and cucumber salads and fried oysters all which were amazingly delicious. The oysters had a thin crispy coating, were piping hot and an almost sweet flavor. The portions were very generous and prices reasonable. The serving staff were very friendly and attentive. Not a fancy facility but fun with a lot of memorabilia all over the place and music in the background. No wine, beer or liquor but you can bring your own. There is outside screened sitting. I would highly recommend.

A fun, funky, fabulous place. The owner is a charming lady, with lots of stories. Food was great, with fish and chips to die for. The have their own brand of sodas..the ginger ale was truly authentic.

I’ve had friends who are now career food industry cooks start out here. The food is home-style bayou, and it’s just about the best place to get solid seafood in the NW corner. The atmosphere is lackadaisically casual with paper napkins and plastic patio furniture. What is omitted in appearances is capitalized on in swagger and dedication at this local favorite. I don’t think you’ll find anyone in town who doesn’t have a few good things to say. Great value and aesthetic.

Stopped into today for one of their locally famous fish tacos. Fantastic! My fiancé and I are avid crab cake connoisseurs and truly loved the thick, hand packed cakes we found here today. Our delicious meal came quick and with pleasant service, all at a very reasonable price. The beachy island theme is fun and inviting. The BYOB option is also very nice for keeping the cost down.

Omg this place is amazing. The Cathfish Po Boy was unbelievable. The decor is interesting and keeps you busy and curious the whole time you are there. The outdoor seating looks like a fun place to sit. The indoor seating is well air conditioned. This is a place people go to when tubing the Farmington River. I have to say I would drive up there just to eat that catfish. My seven year old daughter was happy with her meal and the tidbits we purchased for her there

Funky little beach place in the town if New Hartford that offers their own take on island food. If you like unique fun restaurants and enjoy clams, fish tacos and such, this is not a place to miss! Check their website for days/hours and check it out.
