My girlfriend and I stopped by this gem in Texarkana on our road-trip from Houston to Missouri.. absolutely phenomenal food and owner/chef!! We were blown away by his knowledge and experience with cuisines. Him and his son were extremely helpful and friendly, we conversed for sometime. We will be recommending to anyone and everyone we know going to or passing through here.

The food is fantastic. The brown gravy over the fried pork chops was immaculate. Fried catfish Orleans had a subtle kick that enhanced the flavors. Greens were A1!

Delicious home made food. I would say like your grandma makes, but this is way better lol. No complaints other than it was a little warm in there. Prices may seem high but once you put some of that food in your mouth you will understand. Great quality food is not cheap to produce. Eat here and you will feel better. This is real food.
