My co-worker eats here every Wednesday after work off the lunch special. I decided I wanted to give it a try and YES the food is amazing. I am use to my husbands cooking and making Caribbean food SPICY so I wish it had the KICK I am familiar with. The establishment is nice and modern.

I have been wanting oxtails for about 2 weeks now. I have finally found a place close to me that is open late on a Sunday First of all I called to make sure oxtail was available. I was on hold for 9 minutes. Man I really wanted some oxtail. They said yes! Rght there I ordered over the phone the oxtail with rice peas and cabbage then some fried calamari with sweet chili sauce . Food is cooked to order so it does take some time. I would prefer fresh food over something that has been sitting for hours. The oxtail was seasoned nicely. Tender meat with a hint of spiciness. This accompanied the rice and peas that had more of a coconut flavor than anything else. The cabbage was fresh and needed more salt for my taste. But when you combine all 3 its just right. Only real complaint I have is I would like more gravy/sauce with the oxtail. I like to sop my food up in that. The calamari was lightly breaded and not over done. Chili sauce to complement was perfect. I ate the food right in my car. Couldn’t finish the oxtail bc I was full. U do get a good amount of food for the price.

Dula and Darius were a dynamic duo! It’s a family owned restaurant and the vibe was amazing!!! Everyone was super friendly! Omg that crab butter The loaded potato stack and curry chicken bbbaaabbbyyy! My only star deduction was the cabbage and rice & peas had no flavor separate BUT mixed together with the chicken we will definitely be returning!!!

Not impressed with the service or the food. It’s only been about a year since my previous visit but this time was my last time. The service is subpar and the food was bland. I noticed there was a large party (20+ people) already seated when I arrived, but their food was slowly coming out so it appeared that they had already ordered. I ordered my 2 meals for take-out and was told it would be 30 mins. That should’ve been my que to say never mind. I ordered grilled shrimp and blackened red snapper. When I came back 30 mins later, I was told they are still waiting for the shrimp. How it took 8 shrimp longer to cook than a whole fish is beyond me. Well it took another 25 mins for my food to come out. It took 55 mins to receive two regular meals! Although I was not impressed with the portion size, the food didn’t not have any flavor and the rice tasted reheated. The only thing that seemed fresh was the plantains and the cabbage. I’m not sure what happened to this place but it’s not where it once was in terms of service and taste. I know they say it’s cooked to order but almost an hour is ridiculous to wait for simple meals. Save your time and money.

Been here quite a few times since moving to the area. Most of the staff are very pleasant, and I enjoy the environment, which I appreciate about any restaurant. I really like the expansion with the bar – tried it out for a weekday happy hour and would rate that a 4/5 alone, cool vibe and great service at the bar. Food is cool, my favorites here are the stuffed avocado and the roti. Con for me is the inconsistency with food prep/flavor. I have ordered my go-to dish several times and it’s been a hit or miss (like at times my meat has been undercooked, pink ,and the flavor doesn’t hit like the last time) – I imagine it might be due to the different chefs preparing, but still. Another con is that during my last visit I ordered the seafood pasta and I was expecting full size seafood (based on menu listing and dish price)… but the scallops were super small (see pic) and there were like 5 of them total. I will ask about seafood size or just pass on blended seafood dishes to be safe. I will likely come back – maybe for another happy hour or a snack meal.

Hi, This was my first time and last time going to Blue Water restaurant, because I walked in to order food, the carry out section was closed and as we was walking out was told we could order from the bar because they did not close until 11pm, so we placed our order and took a seat, then the waitress comes and tells us that the kitchen was closed after she took our order and it was only 10:15pm. This is poor customer service, I had a relative who was here from out of town told her about this place but all we got was poor customer service, and no food it is so said you get treated like this by your own people not cool at all, I will never go back to this place again!!!!

This place have some great food and the bartender was exceptional knowledgeable of her job. My wife order the lamb chops with mac & cheese and collard greens (Everything was great), I had the shrimp and fish platter great buy. We had stuffed avocado as our appetizer which was great. The Bartender K.D was excellent, she made the best Hennessy Side Car and the drinks was a nice portion. I forgot to take pictures of our food so I will be back. K.D the bartender said Thursday Karaoke night is great so we will be back. This is a must eat at restaurants if you are in the area.
