This place is perfect for drinking yourself into oblivion. The atmosphere is dark and quiet no one will see you drown your sorrows. The alcohol is perfect for any sushi but I love Mountains Edge, Las Vegas and their Unagi bowl (grilled eel) was perfect made me forget all the money I spent this Christmas for gifts that might get regifted to someone else. But to the few who I gave shampoo and soap and a box of ketchup I know you will use them so kanpai!.

Everything we’ve tried here has been absolutely incredible. From rolls to sashimi, you can’t go wrong, but highly recommend the Salmon sashimi, Japanese lasagna, and Ninja Jalapeños to name only 3 dishes.

We found our new spot!!!! We had been going to another place fairly regularly, however the service at the old place just started going downhill and so we were in the market for a new sushi place to call home and Bluebei is IT!!! From the moment we went in (a busy Friday night) there was a wait but it wasn’t too long. But what instantly struck us was how just how friendly everyone was to us.

OMG, if you haven’t tried Bluebei, you need to. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I’m a big fan of baked mussels and have tried it at other sushi locations, but Bluebei knocked it out of the ball park. It was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back for more!

The food was amazing, and Meghan was the best..She was on top of everything and was so nice and polite..We can’t wait to go back…we had 8 different rolls and they were all so Good! I really love this neighborhood gem. I love it even more after coming back from north county san diego. They always have fresh scallops here, sweet shrimp, good uni, fatty tuna is delicious, happy hour is an awesome deal. Kimchi fried rice is one of the best. Service is great and the ambiance is lovely. I cant find anything like this in north county SD which is so puzzling. You find better sushi right here close to home, in the middle of the desert…..better than the ordinary sushi places in coastal san diego, right by the ocean.

Amazing service – truly a 5-star experience! PLEASE NOTE: Uber Eats will allow you to place an order from Bluebei but the establishment is no longer affiliated with Uber Eats. I placed an order through Uber Eats at 5pm for a 6:30pm delivery and received a “scheduled” status on the app. At 6pm, the order status hadn’t changed so I called Bluebei to see if they had received my order; this is when I was told they no longer worked with Uber Eats. A few minutes later, I received a “cancelled” notification (see pic) from Uber Eats.
