I decided to take a weekend getaway to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach and wanted to try the seafood. Bluewater Grill was recommended, so I went. Everything was great from the moment I stepped in the door until I left. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I was greeted immediately and the hostesses accommodated my request for specific seating (i.e. a good view of the water). The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was superb! Andrew was my server and he was AWESOME! He was so patient and accommodating. He met every need and maintained a pleasant and friendly attitude the whole time and I could tell it was genuine. This was a great experience and I would definitely come back again. I felt very valued and respected as a customer. Keep up the good work.

Wanted a nice but low-key place to eat on our adventures and this place hit the spot. Definitely plan ahead, go early, or call because it was BUSY! We had the crab dip, shrimp and grits, and grilled swordfish. Everything was above and beyond delicious. My SO said the shrimp and grits were the best he’s ever had. Along with that our waiter, Matthew, was amazing; upbeat, knowledgeable, and attentive! The perfect trifecta.

We had a great experience at Bluewater. Tabitha was the best server we could’ve asked for, and is honestly the #1 thing we will remember about this trip here! So ask for her. Calamari and Caesar salad were amazing. Seafood portions aren’t huge, but definitely good!

The food was absolutely delicious and Tabitha was awesome! She took great care of us! We didn’t have to ask for a single thing. The cornbread is by far the best cornbread I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again!

Absolutely amazing. We drove in from Durham on a Friday night and it’s one of the few places open past 9pm. Our food and drinks were excellent! We arrived at 8:30pm, put on a waitlist (20-30min). A big note here, the cell service here is not good so we were almost booted off the list because we were at the bar and hadn’t received our text until we finally asked the host/ess. Thankfully they were still able to accommodate us. If it’s not busy, I highly recommend grabbing a drink at the outdoor bar, waterside. I hope to come back again sometime in the future.

We had the best time at blue water! Piper was our server and took great care of us. The blood orange margarita is delicious 10/10 recommend. The crab dip and watermelon salad are a must. The coconut shrimp and roasted oysters are delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back!

This was our first time but it won’t be our last. We ordered the kids popcorn shrimp, calabash plate, crab dip, fish and chips, shrimp scampi, and the catch of the day. Everything was delicious and fresh. Our server Kirsten was amazing. I let her order my meal and wasn’t disappointed. She knew the menu very well which was helpful!!
