2 stars for the atmosphere, very busy and noisy. I was seated between 2 other tables, could hear everything that was spoken. But, food was spectacular! Service was great and cucumber lemon martini were in point. I will definitely go back, I will request a quieter space.

Loved the food, ambience and the place. Parking is tough to find at a crowded time but the food was worth the parking hassle. Had sushi and it was delicious. The only downside is that the restaurant is little on the pricier side. The service was very good and the whole place was just nice to sit and relax.

Went here for my birthday and it’s probably one of the best sushi places Ive been to. The drinks were good & The seafood was very fresh, tasted almost like we were off the coast. The rolls were good. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday so it’s to be expected. Overall great place to eat and I’m definitely going back

Chic sushi and Asian food spot in Downtown/Uptown Park Ridge. Even though they’re always packed and looks a if there aren’t any open tables whether at the bar area or dining area, hang around because the front staff does their absolute best to accommodate. Their makis are huge and worth doing half of one and half of another (or more) if you want more options. Pictured here are two separate visits but ordered the Truffle Yuzu Salmon, Spicy Edamame, Sushi Combo A (comes with Miso and a side salad), Nabe Yaki Udon. Ordered a few of their many Signature Makis and all are definitely unique and different from the rest. Delicious food that doesn’t break your bank, great service, and great vibes. We’re becoming regulars.

Absolutely delicious sushi. The combinations of fish and other ingredients are eclectic and the flavors superb. The oysters were phenomenal as well. We thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. However, the customer service was lacking and our waiter was barely around after we ordered. Loved the food. A must go to sushi restaurant if you’re in the area. The ambiance is nice and it’s a beautifully decorated restaurant.

Great place to eatsushi but not only…. The drinks were excellent!!! As a sushi lover I was not sure if I can be surprised with taste but Blufish delivered! This is going to be my new favorite place. The decor is pleasant, the place is clean, servers were attentive and + is also outside patio. The only thing that was just ok was one appetizer – asparagus beef. Meat was tender but tasteless. Besides that little meal everything else was delicious therefore decided to keep five stars. Highly recommended!

Blufish has become my number one sushi spot in Chicago. The various maki on the menu are very flavorful, well made, well priced, and prepared quickly… most importantly everything was absolutely fresh! The cocktails we ordered were well made as well and not over dressed. The signature old fashioned is well worth trying for those that are a fan of them. The staff was all very courteous and efficient; the server even sincerely apologized for a wait time that he was in no way responsible for. All of the appetizers & sushi/maki at Blufish have been great and will keep us coming back.
