My mans lunch special is amazing, hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Thanks for hooking me up. The beef is so tender you can break it apart with your plastic fork and the potato salad and Mac and cheese were seasoned to perfection. The special also comes with a dipping container filled with home made BBQ sauce. The sauce is ever so slightly chunky and savory sweet. I’m telling all my coworkers about this place and were stopping by again later for food for our wives and dessert! Thanks for providing excellent service bo!

Wow !!! Absolutely delicious. I’m not sure which BBQ sauce he gave me (on the side) but it was a little hot. I like hot but for some it might be a little too hot, however, his meat is so good I probably could have eaten it without the sauce. If you’re a sauce person and you get the 2-meat combo you might want to ask for an extra sauce. And if you don’t like a little kick, mention that to him when you order. My guess is he has a milder sauce.

Visiting LA for the 1st time and after an early day full of sightseeing I asked my Husband to find a spot in the area with good BBQ. Being from Texas, I know all BBQ isn’t the same & this was NO DISAPPOINTMENT PLUS it’s #BlackOwned Ordered a 2 meat plate with baby backs and a sausage link. Both the potato salad and mango slaw were delicious but more importantly the sauce was smacking!! I was able to eat off of my plate 3 different times. Will definitely be visiting the next time we’re in LA.

My mom and I stooped by this place on our way back to AZ. Man! was some good Q, there is only one gentleman working there but he definitely knows what he is doing. It took me awhile to do this review but after having some recent trash BBQ here is AZ, this review was warranted. The brisket is my go to and it was tender with a good smoky flavor. A fair portion for a lunch plate us the 2 sides were good as well the potato salad had a good bite to it and the mac wasn’t store bought so that’s a plus lol. The BBQ was a little spice for me with all the pepper flakes but it was good none the less. I’ll definitely stop by her again when I return in October.

Favorite spot for BBQ in LA. Tastes like Texas BBQ. The BEST collard greens I’ve had. The brisket practically melted, and is the must have meat from the menu. Slaw is sweet and tangy. Portions are big, prices are reasonable. This is no nonsense, not trying to be bougie, delicious BBQ. LA is lucky to have this spot

It’s located right next to a parking lot. Not too hard to spot the restaurant. It’s take out only and no restrooms as far as i can tell. There’s no outdoor seating. The ribs and brisket were ok. The brisket tasted like it was boiled. Their sauce was really good with a kick of spice. The collard greens had a bit too much vinegar. The Mac n cheese tasted like it was boiled just a bit too long. Service was really nice.

First time visiting. Called ahead was ready at the time promised. The owner was friendly and prepared. Got home food was DELICIOUS! Beans were actually homemade and not canned. I will definitely be back and recommend it highly. Oh and that sauce was a palette pleasing surprise
