We haven’t gotten food from here in bit but ordered a “burger special” to go, and chicken tenders with their cheese-y fries, which used to be awesome but we opened this up when we got home, half an hour away, and nobody would answer the phone when we tried to call about it. Don’t order cheese fries these days unless this is what you want.

Roaches located near/on food and beverages. We left immediately after seeing that. Very disappointed. Used to be our favorite location. My friends visiting from Chicago are also disappointed by this location.

Walked in for dine in, place was empty other than a couple at the bar. Was told our server was doing an interview. Waited for about 15mins until we decided to leave. Someone else could have at least taken our order instead of making us wait for someone else especially when there were two other employees standing there not doing anything.

Busy place, was hard to get service. When we did, though, it was great. Food was fantastic. Went for lunch with my dad while he was in town. Between the two of us we got the sampler combo, the big daddy burger, and the steak philly. The burger was perfect, but didn’t come with sauce (used one of the ranches from the appetizer). The steak Philly was a bit over cooked/dry and the au jus was pretty salty, overall good but room for improvement. The fried green beans were new and turned out pretty well actually! Also nicely priced, $10-13 a plate. Bathrooms were a bit strange, maybe took “open concept” too far with the lack of stalls in a shared bathroom.

Walking distance from UofI campus. Sat outside during Chalk Art Festival- very nice. Pet and family friendly. Chicken tender salad was good, and italian beef sandwich was excellent. Great service and nice atmosphere.

The food was marginal at best. Only 2 people in the restaurant at dinner hour. Our server was not very friendly. The servings were small and overpriced. My friend ordered chicken tenders and they were like something from a frozen bag and dumped into the fryer and when he asked for a side of honey mustard and barbecue sauce for the tenders it took 5 minutes to get it. When he did get it they actually brought 3 very small containers of it for 3 very small tenders. He only wanted 2. To too it all off we were charged 2 dollars for these dipping sauces. The waitress never mentioned an upcharge for the sauces. They actually had the audacity to charge 2 dollars for these extremely small like tablespoonful of sauces. Absolutely ridiculous!! I will never and would advice anyone else to NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. I eat out at restaurants on a daily basis all over the nation and I don’t understand how Bo James stays in business. Absolutely terrible!!
