Great restaurant. It is a middle to up scale restaurant. The first was started on the Country Club Plaza. Now there a few in the Kansas City area. The overland Park location is comfortable and casual with generous dinner servings. The delicious lettuce wrap appetizer is a meal in itself. The Peking Duck entre is enough for two. The crab Rangoon appetizer is a local favorite.

I ordered the create your own stir fry and asked for steak and shrimp along with the vegetables, sauce and rice that I chose. When my dish arrived, it was loaded with shrimp and had no steak in it. I mentioned that to the waitress and my brother and wife both echoed that I had asked for steak and shrimp. The waitress said she only heard me say shrimp and offered to take my plate and make a new order. My sister-in-law suggested that they just cook some steak and bring it out to add to my plate, but she said they can’t do that. I said okay and gave her the dish. She then came back and asked if I just wanted to add steak to the existing dish for $5 because I had a full portion of shrimp. I was surprised that they would offer to charge me more, when not only did they make a mistake, but they were going to take some of the cooked shrimp out of my dish and add steak. I said no, just give me the normal portion for the normal price. She did apologize for the mistake when she brought the correct order, but what a strange thing to do, to try and up-charge after making a mistake. The food was delicious, which saved the experience, but I didn’t think the way they handled my order was right.

Went for dim sum and food was good as usual but the service was terrible. Ask for soy sauce and hot sauce 4 times from 4 different people who worked there as our table did not have any. Not till the 4th time of asking we received the sauces but our meal was almost over by then. No offers to refill water or drinks. I understand if the restaurant was busy and understaffed but it seemed to be properly staffed and not busy at all. When the check was dropped off at our table, it was rudely dropped off with no eye contact or thank you for coming in. Food as stated before was good and fresh but the service really killed the experience. Will not be going to this location anymore.

We came just as they opened to beat the lunch rush. This place was clean, the employees courteous and prompt. Their tea was hot and tasted very good. Spacious environment. Best dim sum locally. Try their sticky rice with Chinese sausage!
