Bo Ne makes a damn fine grilled chicken Bahn Mi. The pickled veggies and fresh cucumber slices had a bright, refreshing flavor profile and a crisp snap. The chicken was juicy and rich with a nice amount of smokey flavor and a lovely light grill char. The bread hit that perfect blend of soft/crunch/chew, and the ratio of roll to fill was spot on. Of the many Bahn Mi sandwiches I’ve tried, I don’t believe I’ve ever had one that included shredded lettuce — I’m more accustomed to the green leafy element being an herb like cilantro or green onion, but I was into it.

I went there with 3 other people on Jul 23 (Sat) for lunch. After drinking the pho, I stayed awake all night long. Now it’s Wed, I continue to have have sleepless nights. The internet said it’s because of the msg in the food. That’s horrible and i’ll not go back again. Not just that, they calculated the bill wrong. Firstly, she gave me a bill for 72, I told her that it wouldn’t be 72 when 2 of us had vegan dishes. Then she got me a bill for 68. I asked her why and I couldn’t understand what she said. I just checked her website online to try to order the same things just to see if the bill was wrong the 2nd time. YES! It was wrong, the total should be 63.95 instead.
