Excellent dining experience from the beginning. The entire staff was very professional, and the food was excellent. The 21 day dry age rib eye steak was tender and seasoned just right with a good crust. The side of mushrooms was also very good. I look forward to trying their smashed broccoli next time.

High-end steakhouse, delicious food and nice environment. Gets kinda packed toward dinner time so make sure you make a reservation. Good amount of space in between tables, and quiet enough to hold a conversation. Good amount of cocktails / drinks to choose from. Plenty of free parking outside, or you can choose to valet too. Can be a little pricey.

It was just okay. Overall vibe: casual restaurant with expensive food.

A very good addition to the South Bay steakhouses. Service was excellent. The restaurant has unique design and is comfortable but is good to dress warm as they have an open door to the outside with heaters though. Food quality was better than expected since there are a few in la you worry it would be chain quality and wasn’t. I had the forward passion ( take on old fashion) and bee blossom cocktails, both were good. Dry aged ribeye brushed with wagyu fat and peppercorn sauce was worth it and the sides were great, truffle fries, lobster mac and mashed broccoli. The stars were dessert, all were great and made in house they said. Cheesecake, cookies and carrot cake with ice cream. Would come back just for these desserts alone but the whole meal was great. Looking forward to coming back again.

I recently had the most incredible dining experience at BOA Steakhouse in Manhattan, and I can’t stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a chic, sophisticated ambiance that set the perfect tone for the evening.

Last night we received a very warm, friendly welcome from the hostess, she even wished me happy birthday. Our waitress (Adeli) was absolutely wonderful! She has a lovely personality—very bright and cheery, and was quite attentive. The service has been impeccable each time we’ve visited the restaurant, the food is outstanding and cocktails are excellent and always consistent. The restaurant manager is courteous and very hospitable, quietly visiting each table to inquire about your satisfaction but never being at all intrusive. All the wait staff are well- trained, friendly professional, and courteous. My husband and I really love having dinner there!!! 🙂

Went to Boa last night and spent about $500 for dinner for two and did not order alcohol. But I paid the $50 for a corking fee. That’s the highest corking fee in Manhattan Beach by the way. Ordered the shrimp cocktail for $30 which included three shrimp. One of the shrimp was slightly soft and by the time I figured out it was bad I had already swallowed it. As a result, I’ve had cramps all night in my stomach, and just threw up so I decided to write. this review. If I’m spending $500 for dinner guys you don’t get to serve bad shrimp. I could have gone to Cabo and got a steak in Mexico at that price. Our waiter, Josh was good. He looks like Prince William but with hair. I called him Prince Hairy. Another thing, there was nobody there. The place was mostly empty. Maybe it’s because it’s too expensive, when I drove by Arthur J’s it was packed. This is the beach, we don’t like spending 500 bucks on a so so dinner at a fancy place. We’d rather go to a local place and spend $250. Boa, lower your prices, maybe people will come back in more, maybe with you will serve more shrimp, and not leave it sitting around getting people sick.

As someone who grew up going to BOA Santa Monica & BOA WeHo, I have no idea what’s going on here. From the bright lighting and non-romantic ambience, down to the terrible service and being served a LITERALLY COLD steak… I can safely say this is not the BOA I know and love. We were a table of 4, served 1/4 salads, while waiting for the others to get their first course we were approached with our entire hot dinner order. Nobody asked if we wanted wine with our main course. Our initial martini (favorite part of BOA is my martini & wedge) was served in a warm glass. Even my wedge had dressing on one side of the iceberg lettuce, leaving the other side completely bare. But no one else got their salad, so I was never able to enjoy it. When we realized every else’s salads were forgotten, they packed up my wedge in a to go box and PLACED IT ON OUR DINING TABLE with the rest of our food. On top of that, my husband ordered a rare steak. It was medium rare, and the interior was cold to the touch. I simply don’t understand how this could be happening but long story short, drive a bit North and go to BOA Santa Monica where I can guarantee none of this will happen to you.
