One of my favorite places in the GF/EGF area, and I make a point of always stopping in any time I am back in town. The food is good and the service is always excellent. And the absolute highlight/cherry on top is the habanero sauce. I always get an extra side of the sauce to dip my fries in. Never disappoints!

My family and I came here last week and we were pretty grossed out. There was a bug floating in my drink which was a 10+ dollar drink, so I did not drink it. When we told the waitress, she acted like we were bothering her. our waitress was super aggressive too. She kept interfering in our personal conversations and putting her two cents in and giving commentary on our stories (which was uncomfortable). The burgers the entire table ordered were extremely flavorless, dry, and tasted old. The waitress kept lingering around when we were filling out the tip part as well and it was very uncomfortable, so we gave her a very, very small tip for her behavior, and for hovering over us. We won’t be returning to this restaurant. SMH. I’ve only been in the state of North Dakota for two years about, and I have to say that I have never eaten at a good restaurant in the area. Quality is not a thing around here. In Texas, this stuff wouldn’t fly. The last thing I want to add is that she did not check on us one time. Not one time did she check on us. We had to flag her down repeatedly to get stuff as she refused to come to our table. She sure would walk by and comment on the conversation we were having amongst ourselves though, but apparently it was too hard for her to actually check on us.

Had lunch w/my sis 2day – excellent service n awesome food!! We asked 4 a hot “spiked” coffee drink – it was great on a cold, fall day. I had the turkey avocado lettuce wrap n my sis had the taco salad.

When we walked into the restaurant it was almost empty (should of been our first clue). Evem with it being empty it took them several minutes to acknowledge that we were there. Once we were seated it took our server over 5 minutes to come to the table to greet us and ask us if we would like anything to drink. It took her over 10 minutes to return with 2 waters and a watermelon sangria. We placed our order and it took approximately 45 minutes for us to get it (we stopped checking the time after 40 minutes and we were just getting ready to leave when it came). We didnt order anything fancy we had the mushroom cheese burger one with a side of sweet potatoe fries and the other with a side of mashed potatoes. The portions were small and not worth the price. The burger was so dry even after you add condiments it was still hard to swallow and very tasteless. The sweet potatoe fries were stone cold, and there was a chunk of rotten potatoe in the mashed potatoes. During this time the server didnt come around to ask if everything was ok or even ask if we wanted more drinks. Once she noticed we were done eating she dropped the bill off still not asking if there was anything else we would like. Needless to say we will not be going back, nor recommending this restaurant to anyone else. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because the sangria was refreshing and good.

We went for a few late evening drinks, while staying in the campground at Red River Recreation Area. The bar that was open, was on the top floor patio style seating, overlooking the bridge over the Red River. The bridge was lit up, for a beautiful view outlooking from the patio. Service was excellent, and drinks were well poured 🙂 we did not eat food.

They did a lot with the atmosphere. The woodwork, the view, the fire pits and the fireplace are all very inviting. I always feel cozy whenever I’m there. The drinks are second to none around Grand Forks as well and are half the price of other places in town. I’m hoping the seasonal menu items become part of the permanent menu soon. I like the bigger variety of items to choose from. I just wish it was year-round.
