I’m from Kansas City, I try to head down to Caplinger/Stockton annually and usually the food in the area is alright but when I saw this place had a solid 4-5 star rating, I didn’t know if it was just rated so highly because of lack of diversity of choice in the area (lets be real there aren’t many restaurants around.) or if it was just genuinely a 4-5 Star establishment. I had the Ribeye and it was phenomenal. I will 100% be stopping at his restaurant every time I come down, great prices, great service, and great food.

Best BBQ sauce in town. All around great place, to eat. Or to gather with family and friends. Good is great, French fries are homemade. The Brisket with the BBQ sauce is delicious. It is further to drive, unless I’m already camping at the lake. But worth it. A good restaurant is getting hard to find.

Looks like a fun place i’ve only been there a couple of times the waitresses are very nice. I ordered a Seafood platter that was supposed to have Cod and. Scallops. But I got tilapia and shrimp. This is the first place i’ve ever been to that served seafood without any bread.

Best onion rings I have ever had! The prime rib sandwich is also exceptional. All food is made from scratch, nothing is frozen. Fun atmosphere.

The Boathouse is the place to go for delicious food. They have great barbeque as well as a nice variety of burgers and sandwiches. And the fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun!

This place was amazing. My husband is a Chef in Lake Ozark and we are foodies. Everything about this place was Awesome. We had 2 appetizers, 3 meals my husband had 2 lg draft beers and I had 3 high moons our bill was only 83$. The picture is all the food we took home We will definitely drive the hour to the Boat House again. My only suggestion is to get a block of white Velveeta throw it in a crock pot with some Rotel and use that as your queso for the pork nachos ( up nachos a buck or even a buck in half) or just use shredded melted cheese.86 the cheese you are using.

First time there. Ordered our drinks and food. We were not even half way through either and watress asked if we was ready to pay. I said no we are still eating. Few minutes later she comes back asks again. Then send a gentleman over to ask us. Then the owner takes the cash on the counter from a scratch ticket and informs us it was paying the tab. We obviously did not order anymorr quickly ate drank and left right away. So two meals two drinks and pushed out the door. Place was not busy at all. Was before 5pm on a Saturday. Not a great first time experience at all.
