Very nice location. It sits on Buckeye Lake. They do not have very many tables at all. It’s pretty congested. More like a bar than a restaurant. It’s an every man for himself seating. People are basically watching you eat so they can be the first to snatch your table as soon as you get up. Very few waiters. As soon as you are seated they ask for a credit card upfront before you can order. I didn’t like that but I guess they have had a lot of people leave without paying according to our waiter. Not surprising because it’s so congested. The food is good! Fresh and interesting. We enjoyed it. Kids liked it too. I did think it was a bit pricey for the portions.

We went here last week cause Ive heard alot of good things about The restraunt. We went and order and they had a live band playing. Very beautiful scenary. We ordereded about 40.00 worth of food. Well I overheard a waitress saying to the patrons that were sitting ahead of us there order is the last order for the night. We had been there about an hour or longer and I took notice there order came out pretty fast. I wasnt nasty or anything I always believe kindness and extending grace goes along way no matter the situation. Well so the waitress came passing through i grabbed her attention and she said oh my gosh im so sorry and so we talked through order and the situation. It appeared my order was a glitch in the system or something and long story short it wasnt a big deal it was our first time going there. The manager was so kind I showed him where it was taken out of mu account and he instantly with no hesitation put refunded my money and all of them apologized and he did as well. They were super busy. They still brought out our food. We did take it to go cause we wanted to walk the pier and head back. The food was exceptional and the view is so beautiful there. I want to return soon!

Friendly staff, has decent selection of beer and liquor, only thing I’d add is drink specials or a drink menu. I think it would help alot. But great food and atmosphere. Nice staff and clean restaurant with a great view of the lake.

I got the pulled pork sandwich and fries and it was delicious! Most of our table got their food very quickly, but there was a mess up with one order, they made it right but the server got a bit argumentative at first which was unfortunate, they were very busy so a little mistake is no big deal, and understandable. Overall a great experience at Boat Yard at Buckeye Lake

New kitchen is putting out decent food which we’re excited about. Service last Saturday was horrible. I understand it was the lake and the weekend and the weather was perfect so place was busy, but when you have 4 wait-staff pass you and none of them offer menus or to take drinks it hard not to be put off. Finally decided to go to bar and place drink and food orders.

Loved the food, view, music & open air atmosphere. The staff was so helpful at recommending vegetarian selections for my friend. The crab rangoon nachos & fried califlower w Thai sauce was AMAZING! Highly recommended. They’ve also added a walk up window for the frozen drinks.
