The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. That alone was worthy of 5 stars but the staff, and atmosphere are great too! It’s one of the top places I’ve been on my travels. If you are in the area this is a must go. Also it was only a 10 minute wait for brunch on a Sunday morning.

Located in Santa Barbara’s coastline this is a small little cafe with a beachfront view. There are no reservations accepted, however we stopped in for a quick breakfast on a weekday and we were seated quickly. Definitely a spot to check out with friendly service and great food. There are nice views and they are located next to the beach we’re the general public not dining there partakes on the sights. Parking can get full quickly if they are busy.

Fantastic atmosphere on the beach, great views, excellent service, and delicious food. Their crab cakes and calamari are delicious, although a little pricey, is made up for by the great view. You can walk directly out of the restaurant down to the beach and walk in the sand, and you can even take your drinks out there as well! Unfortunately service out there is spotty and they have no Wi-Fi, but not a big deal.

We were in Ventura for a CCSBC tournament and I have seen commercials for the Boathouse on TV, it was on our way back to Santa Maria so we were all game to try for the 1st time. This is such a hidden treasure and a little off the beaten path but so worth it!! Great food, menu is very big and has everything you could want to satisfy everyone. Bar looks great too

We’ve been here 4 times, 3 for breakfast, and 1 for lunch. I gave it 4 stars because since breakfast was delicious, I expected more for lunch, but I was disappointed(I ordered shrimp tacos). Other than that, breakfast was really good (coffee, orange juice, pancake, any Benedict, chilaquiles). The place is perfect for any group, and service is impeccable. Come early because this place gets busier and busier as the day goes by.

Found this gem in Santa Barbara while traveling back home. I must say there’s a reason why over 3500 people have reviewed this restaurant. It lives up to the hype. You are literally a couple of feet from the ocean so the views are breathtaking. Pictured are the crab cakes with a chipotle aioli, cup of clam chowder and fish and chips. A lot of clams in the chowder with a perfect creamy texture and flavor. The crab cakes tasted as if they were pulled out of the ocean minutes before going into the fryer. The fish and chips had a nice light batter and the fish was perfectly fried. The fries were tossed in ol bay seasoning which added a nice touch. Also, the tarter sauce was so good I had to order an extra one. My only complaint was the slaw. It had some type of fruit in it and the flavor did not go well with my pallate. The service was great as well. I would definitely visit this establishment again and if you are ever in the area, you will not regret it.
