I had wanted to come here for a while after it opened, and was pretty disappointed after finally going. It was extremely loud and somehow the voices were echoing and made it disorientating. The wheat pancakes were extremely flat and had a weird flavor (yes, it’s partially my fault for getting the wheat pancakes, but I still think anything put on the menu should be edible). Eggs were okay. Only good review is the pork sausage patties.

Hard to describe what an awful experience we had. Service was bad. Food was awful and undercooked also appeared that some of the ingredients had gone off. Orders were also incorrect. Floor had trashed strewn all over it and none of the wait staff appeared to notice for the entire time we were there. This was all going on while the place was mostly empty. I should mention that all we ordered was a cheese omelette and some pancakes and they managed to get those wrong. I know the original location is an institution but this is by no means holding up Its reputation and we are sorry to see that.

Bright and clean inside with an awesome staff! There is a giant chalkboard with specials listed. Two of us ordered from this and were not disappointed. The hashbrowns are great and the pancakes are over the top. I can’t believe that I’ve never been here before because they have been open over 50 years. Definitely will be back the next time we are in Arlington.

Not good at all cold food 2 days on a row. Food very bland and flavorless home fries are plain cube cut potatoes steak taste like it was boiled or microwaved. French toast has raw cinnamon dumped on top disgusting. Wet runny scrambled eggs and toast with cold butter clump in the middle. Never eating here again.

I enjoy the atmosphere, and for diner food, it’s in line with expectations. However, I’ve knocked off a star because they raised their prices at the beginning of the year, but they haven’t posted them. I gave a pass the first month or two when they said they were printing new menus, but it’s been 4 full months–now you’re just lying to customers. Surprise bills are not what people want or need (especially these days), and maybe was contributing to the diner being empty (for the first time I’ve ever seen on a weekend breakfast) when we last went.

Typical diner food. Good quality. Surprised that no hash browns were served with eggs and French toast and the maple syrup was rather unsweet. Parking is difficult if you come at a busy time. Service was uniformly excellent.

The food was good, our waiter was good but we ended up waiting quite a long while because the place was packed obviously everybody loves place. I fought the prices were really high,

The restaurant was empty, but it still took 50 minutes for our breakfast. It was 11 am. Other customers that came in after us got their food before us. When it finally came out, it was all the eggs, omelet, and fries were cold. So,gross. Never again.
