The restaurant had 2 tables occupied and a server and a cook called off. We understood that might be an issue but the restaurant was basically empty. The manager from our entrance was not to friendly and all he cared about was the to go orders. The waitress brought out partial meals for my family and my one son did not get his meal until the end. When I asked what happened the waitress was very flippant and said that the cook hit some screen and order was lost. She did not explain where our food was and we had to beg for refills. When I asked the manager he said “we only have 1 server and one staff” as he was making excuses and putting the pies in the bags for the other people to go orders. He should have shut down the inside and focused on the to go orders. It seemed like that is all he cared anyways. If they would have explained what was going on it would have made a difference. It was like we didn’t even exist. If I could leave a zero review I would.

I have ordered from this restaurant for the past 6 months every Sunday. Every weekend there are always issues with the staff ringing up and knowing what is on the menu, orders always being wrong, staff highly moody and not wanting to even serve us. We spend 70 to 80 dollars every Sunday. The reason we keep orders is my husband looks forward to this breakfast on his only day of but it’s honestly the worst experience we have ever had here in Kentucky since we have moved here 7 months ago. Today is the last straw where I ordered 88 dollars in food to pick up got home to be missing the order because the employee put half our order in the wrong bad and basically said I didn’t look in the bag because he knows he put it in the bag and this conversation happened after he looked at another staff member telling her no that he wasn’t helping me and stood at the counter refusing to even speak to me. I’m 9 months pregnant have a 6 figure income and I love the lord I would never try to tell anyone a lie to get food. I’m absolutely beside myself with this location and will never be back to this place again. What makes it so much worse is the straight disrespect every weekend like everyone there hates their job and has no problem projecting that negativity among the customers and chaos it truly is unfortunate that our weekend breakfast routine has been such an unpleasant experience but we will find another place to spend our money and appreciates our business. God sees all things and the level of disrespect from these employees for the length of time with no change in attitudes or the ability to get our order right even once is ridiculous and no one deserves this for that kind of money. They do not care about this business or customers or have any standards for those who live their lives in a completely different light. Truly unfair. Management has turned each of these situations into hostility towards us and we have walked away every time letting it go but this was really the very last time I allow this restaurant to treat us this way for their own mistakes.

Wouldn’t know about the food since no one just even tried to acknowledge me standing at the hostess stand for about 2 minutes. 2 of the workers behind the counter looked like they looked my way but didn’t try to tell me anything about waiting a moment. There was a party of 4 waiting to be seated. They were listed on the pad on the hostess podium. While I stood there, the eldest lady in THAT party commented that maybe they were short staffed. From my vantage point, they had employees but need training n customer service and time management. Here in Louisville KY, we’ve already lost 2 Bob Evans and here we were in the best part ( east end) of town and THIS is happening. We quit going to the one out near Hillview because of the same issues but that was about a year ago. I don’t see how Bob Evans can last much longer here. Sad. So sad.

Well…..we went on a day a new manager started and he chose to serve call in only for 45 minutes or soooooooooo to an hour. Customers left, the servers didn’t get tips $$$ as NO ONE that wanted to sit in the restaurant were being seated. The hostess and our server was great as well as the food was hot and delicious. Sooooo if this was that manager’s first job as a manager he needs better training……..to put it nicely.
