Their burgers and bar fries were AMAZING! Not only was the food perfectly cooked, it was such a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The owner and bartender both took the time to talk to us and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back often. It was such a great experience!!

Went here twice. First time for an omlete and pancakes. Omlete was OK. Not great. Pancakes were the toughest pancakes I ever had. Not light and fluffy. Flat and tough to cut with a fork. Second time did 2 over easy eggs, 2 bacon strips with pancakes. Pancakes were so tough the knife had a tough time cutting them. Not even sure how you can make them that tough. Syrup made them soft enough to eat. Service was good. Clean bathrooms.

Loved the friendly service, atmosphere, food, and architecture at this authentic small town Wisconsin restaurant in timber, organic and dairy farms country. I don’t know which we enjoyed more; the beautiful western Wisconsin drive or the lovely smiles of the family owned business owners and their funny stories about being food entreprenuers. Made for a delightful day trip exploring Mississippi River small towns and southwestern Wisconsin.
