We were traveling through coming back from Mountain View Arkansas. Heading to our home state of Texas. Started craving fried chicken googled it and Bobby‘s country cooking came up. It was delicious seasoned perfect. The okra was just crispy enough and you could tell it was fresh homemade. You grab a tray, pick out what food you would like, they fix your plate right there in front of you, quick and fast, Then when we got to the end of the line , he said pick out a pie, our eyes got even bigger. The pies were just as good as the fried chicken. Wished we lived around here. This would definitely be a weekly stop for us. Good luck. God bless Bobby and his lovely wife of almost 41 years! We enjoyed your hospitality!!

The food was amazing. They have the prettiest fried chicken that I’ve seen in years. Everything was great! The chicken could have used a tad bit more season, but it was a quick fix with a dash of salt. The beans and okra were so seasoned! We were on vacation in Memphis, but we drove to Litrle Rock and got something to eat. I recommend this place %. Very clean rest room!

Very small restaurant, but big on flavor! Fried catfish, navy beans ,all the food was delicious, and cooked “down home style”. However, I skipped the fried okra, because it was almost burnt, and was told hard as rocks by my dinner companion. The rolls had a thick burn on the bottom, but yummy on top. Don’t pass on sweet tea. For 2 lunch plates, and 2 teas,it was $30. The tables are all really close together, so hurry up and eat and get up. Good experience all around though.

I’ve eaten here a few times and have only had an amazing experience each time. The atmosphere is great. The food is phenomenal. The service is top notch! The restaurant is always busy when I arrive, but that doesn’t take away from the personalized service I feel when I’m there. I recommend everyone pay them a visit… You won’t be sorry you did!

The food at Bobby’s is not seasoned, and seasoning is what defines home-cooking. The food from the line was warm, but not hot. The pork chop was dry and hard to eat. I did not get a drink refill although others around me did. I wish WLR had a genuine country/soul food restaurant.

The most burnt, dried out chicken I have ever been served. I bought the okra as well, it was cold and way over salted. The pecan pie, well it was just nasty. I ate here years ago and it was really good but now it’s just sad. I can’t believe they let something that horrible leave their kitchen. I’ll be damned before I step foot in that place again.
