The restaurant is clean and fragrant as you walk in, the atmosphere is on point with Korean music lightly in the background.

The place is small with only three tables to sit, definitely could fit one or two more. The menu is small but the beef bulgogi with a fried egg was delicious! My husband has been coming here for a while now and finally convinced me to try it, it was pretty good. The lack variety on food and drinks but like I said, the place is small and ran by two guys only. It has potential for more.

Very tasty food. The only thing is how chewy the beef was. Will continue to order here in the future.

Great flavor food although I wish I would have known I could get the beef spicy. And I would’ve liked to have more sauce because everything seemed a little dry.

So I did a Google search for Korean restaurants near me. Bobq appeared and I stopped. This ended up being my best visit of the day. Simple menu but the food was excellent! I met the owner who was working the grill. He makes his own kimchi!!! Great place. Most definitely a five star stop

This is a hidden gem on a U-City side street (Melville Avenue) which runs into the Chuck Berry Statue on Delmar Avenue. Its neighbors on Delmar are Vintage Vinyl and Blueberry Hill. I can’t recall how I heard of this place, but it was on my list to visit. They did not disappoint! The food is freshly prepared, served hot and fast. The staff is friendly and polite. I had the Beef Bulgogi Bowl for lunch at the restaurant and took home the Half/Half Bowl with my picks of Spicy Pork and Spicy Chicken along with an order of the Dumplings (5pc) for dinner later that day. Parking in U-City is a hot mess, but I used the public lot north of Delmar on Eastgate Avenue by McGinnis Alley and walked over to Bob.Q. I would recommend everyone give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I used to come here regularly but it seems the og cooks have left because now the food is either burnt, not seasoned well, or made with subpar meat.

Absolutely delicious, the Bulgogi was tender and incredibly flavorful. Adding the fried egg gave a nice addition to the flavor.. The gyoza/mandus were perfectly crunchy. The best meal we have had in days, we will absolutely be back!

Very basic Korean BBQ. It is my favorite food so I’ve had almost every K BBQ restaurant in STL and stopped here while I was in the area and needed something quick. There were only 2 people working so service was a bit slow. Food was a little bland and not enough sauce which made it dry. The bowl you get is smaller than I thought I would be getting for $15. It was all just OK. Would not come here again as there are just better options in STL ♀️

BOBQ is one of those restaurants you didn’t know you needed. My wife and I typically try to find that one specific restaurant that hits both our cravings, and BOBQ was definitely there for us in our time of need. It’s a perfect portioned meal that gives you a blend of fresh and saucy protein options. It’s a fast take on your classic Korean BBQ, and boy does it deliver! It was a quick and tasty experience that left us wishing they had a second location downtown.
