I admit I’ve passed Bob’s broiled chicken many times and never tried it due to the name. Joke’s on me because I finally tried it and I think they have the best wings in town. Bob’s broiled chicken makes simple food but he makes it well. The wings and fries were fantastic and we will definitely be back to try the broiled chicken. However, I would recommend sticking to the simpler dishes as the chicken pot pie and Mac and cheese could be improved.

The food was good and well cooked. I had the broiled chicken with broccoli, squash, mac and cheese and seasoned carrots. Prices reasonable, though, it is always cheaper to do yourself, if you have the time. Service was good and friendly.

So glad we found this restaurant! Located in a strip mall it would be easy to pass up but that would be a huge mistake. Quiet, decent jazz music and a lovely waitress. Started off with cornbread… Sweet, light but dense it was a nice change from the regular bread you get. I got the chicken tenders with sausage stuffing and red potato salad. Everything here is home-made and all I can say is this was the best meal I have had out it forever. And nice sized options. The wife’s Broiled Chicken was tender the Mac n cheese tasted liked mom’s and the mashed potatoes were have mashed. But the gravy… Oh my the gravy… All I can say is I could have asked for a pitcher. This will be a repeat restaurant.

This is down home cooking! Nothing here is frozen it’s all from scratch and SO satisfying! The decor is a little bit outdated but that is part of the charm! The fancy restaurants have nothing on this place. Good sized portions, friendly staff, and very clean.

I saw an ad, was finally in the area, and walked in. Everything is fresh and home-cooked. Everything starts off with the best cornbread I’ve had in my life. The tenders were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the hot sauce was the perfect mixture of heat and flavor. I got the macaroni and cheese side, which was just like home, and the fries were delicious as well. The bleu cheese sauce was the best I’ve ever had. I never thought their secret ingredient would go so well with it before I tried it.
