Perfect spot for lunch while sight seeing in Virginia City. Service was nice and the pizza was great. 8″ pizzas were the perfect size for the kiddos and the pesto sauce and pint hit the spot!

Friendly, helpful staff and good vibes. I really wanted to like this place but the food was pretty bad. The pizza tastes like ketchup on soda crackers. The dressing looked gross and didn’t taste much better. The salad was ok except for the dried out shredded carrots. The lettuce and other veggies looked fresh. The dressing ruined it. We were tempted to order pie at first but after being disappointed by the pizza and salad we skipped it. The faucet in the restroom didn’t work.

After a full day at Yellowstone, we drove thru this picturesque little town of Virginia City. “Pull over!” I said, as I loved how charming & inviting their downtown looked. We got out to take some photos but while walking along the sidewalk we could smell food, and found Bob’s Place. It was Labor Day, and just about 6 pm. The staff was closing up, but took the time to make us a pizza anyhow!

Place has potential. We ate on a slow weekday before the big summer rush. Server was still training, so overall, she did well. We ordered meatlovers pizza. The outer crust was black as well as areas of the entire bottom. Served with paper plates that didn’t hold up well when trying to cut the crust. Toppings were good. Noticed other pizzas being brought out looked the same. Hope this is a learning curve for them. Nobody ever came back to the table to ask how things were.

Stopped in for a slice and a beer, then came back for another slice and a beer. The pizza was THAT GOOD. Love the atmosphere, and the owner is a badass full of love and sass. Wish I would have gotten her name…. I have always dreamed of having a small cafe with a vibe like Bobs Place- locals and tourists all feeling welcome, awesome food and beverages and killer music playing…. Loved every part of this place and next time I go to Montana Ill be making a stop in this cool town just to have this awesome experience again. <3

Owner left first day server to go to wedding so service went downhill afterwards. Also ask for foil to cover left over pizza and they told me good thing I ask for foil and not a box or they’d have to charge me. I observed table next to us given a box with no charge.

Great little pizza joint with great History. We had the vegetarian pesto pizza & ice cream for desert. The staff are very friendly, specially Matthew. You can watch them make the pizza. Fun for the kids.
