I had the pleasure of dining at Bucca Lupa recently, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the meal was a delight for the senses. The food was truly amazing!

Great, unassuming little Italian in Inman Park. Had the 4 course tasting which was great. Rabbit tortolini and the duck were incredible – and the Vespa cocktail

The service was great, the server could explain very well all of the dishes in the menu. Really helped out to decide which plate we selected.

I think this place is overrated. Not bad. But doesn’t deserve 5 stars and a 3 week waitlist. People who give it 5 stars and are amazed either never tried real Italian pasta or had other food than we did.

Such a great spot in a unique neighborhood. While you wait for your reservation to be called, the general manager, Jason, direct you to the wonderful elevated front deck. With seating where he takes your drink order should you desire a cocktail or a glass of wine prior to your seating. He is a trained sommelier so his wine knowledge is vast and in depth. Not a huge bottle selection which is nice because it is actually curated to be simple devious making but delicious wine at all price points. As you get seated, enjoy the small intimate restaurant with dim lighting and great people watching. Abbie was our server who was great with conversation, and very in-depth with menu knowledge. For an appetizer, enjoy the A16 meatballs and Little Gem Caesar with Spanish Anchovies. For entrees, consider the Puttanesca which is a black fettuccini with house made tuna sausage. Yes, tuna sausage. Also try the 20 yolk tagliatelle with wild earthy flavors. And we finished with two wonderful desserts, including the goat cheese Panna cotta featuring huckleberry. Absolutely bursting with flavor and not too sweet which was nice.

The food and service were amazing. We made reservations three weeks prior, got stuck in the Peachtree Rd traffic, and ran over time. The staff accommodated us even though they were super busy. We ordered the Parppadelle Bolognese, Simple Salad, Braised Lamb Tortellini, and Spicy Yellow Fin Crudo.

Having dinner here multiple times, I’ve never been anything but delighted. The food is outstanding. Every time. And the staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They all work together so you’re never left waiting with a dirty plate, for water to be refilled, or for your dish/drink. Highly recommend.

All around 5 star experience at BoccaLupo – came for dinner on a Saturday night during my first time visiting Atlanta. Coming from NY where there is no shortage of good food, I can’t say enough good things about the food and service. Brian was our waiter and he was the nicest and helped to check a few times on options for my friend who has a gluten allergy. I Started with the What are you, the police? cocktail which was so good and light! Then we did a few apps, as well as the pasta tasting menu, which we split amongst the two of us without gluten allergies. The sampler was great and I’d highly recommended if it’s available. We also added two additional pastas – I didn’t love the dumplings as much but the spicy pasta w seafood is a must get. My friend got the risotto with seafood, another must order, also recommended sharing as it’s quite rich for a whole dish. Overall, the food, ambiance and service was excellent and will definitely be back. Thanks Brian and BoccaLupo team for a delicious and memorable dinner!
