Bocce should be embarrassed. This arrangement they have with Delaware North is bad for their business. In a word, the pizza at the airport is junk. Similar sauce, similar cheese, but the crust is an imposter. It’s not Bocce, and thus is destroying their brand. Their crust outside the airport is light, fluffy, airy. Ironic that in the AIRport, the crust is not airy. In fact, it’s frozen cardboard. It’s awful. On top of that, the day I was there, they only had one person working and she was working her tail off, but said you could only get pizza or mozzarella sticks, anything else was not available. And then they abruptly closed. At 1 pm! Worse, this lone girl was unable to allow me to tip her for her effort. She took the order, made the pizza (on a frozen junk crust), cooked it and watched it and served it…But yet their system wouldn’t allow a tip. In recent months, Delaware North has lost the business at Rich Stadium (I honestly do not know what it is called these days), and this iteration of Bocce’s done by Delaware North is another strike on their record. They ruined a Buffalo icon. Folks, Bocce is really good Buffalo pizza, don’t let your experience at the airport keep you from their locations in town. And Bocce? I’d recommend a first-hand assessment. If your contract allowed for this, then it’s your fault, you sold out. And in doing so, you’ve damaged your brand. If not, you need to determine if this is right for your business. Until then, I am going to other iconic Buffalo pizza shops; La Nova, Picasso’s, Macy’s, Imperial, Carbone’s.

I want to thank Bocce Club Pizza for opening my taste buds to be pizza lows. Seriously. I didn’t realize how bad pizza could be until I came here. This is quite possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. It was dry and flavorless bread with a crusted outside.

Bocce Club pizza at the airport should taste similar to Bocce Club pizza at their pizzerias. It was awful! The crust was processed frozen crust, toppings undercooked & flavorless, NOT what I expected. I feel bad for anyone that’s new to Buffalo to think this is how our pizza tastes! What was Bocce Club thinking??

Tastes nothing like actual Buffalo style pizza. Like an alien tried to reproduce Bocce Club after hearing about pizza from a friend who’d never eaten it. Chewy and dense and flavorless. Avoid at all costs. Go to actual Bocce Club before or after the airport.

Terrible pizza. Doesn’t taste anything like Bocce Club Pizza. Sauce is flavorless, too much garlic. $16 for a 10 inch large round garlic bread basically. Such a disappointment.

I was excited to hear that Bocce was opening a place in the airport because it’s my favorite place to eat when I’m in the city. I knew being in an airport would be a step down in the food quality just because it’s in an airport, but I can’t believe it was this bad. The service was terrible, the pizza was just bad. I can’t believe they would put their name on a place serving food like that, especially for the crazy mark up in price. Won’t be ordering again.

I love bocce club pizza but the lady who took my order was extremely rude to the point I just left and went to the burger place next door even though I was in the mood for pizza. I had to go back to buy a water bottle and the young man at the counter was nice however.
