Wow! I thought I knew where the best chicken shawarma was in Detroit but I was wrong; it’s without a doubt Boff’s! I was suggested this place by a friend in Bay City that will specifically drive to come eat here. Not only we’re my mother and I offered a sample but the pricing, kindness and quality is outstanding. Don’t be fooled by the outside, it looks like a meat market but there is seating, a clean bathroom and it’s pretty open!

Came here on a Saturday early evening for dinner. Very small dining area attached to a market. We ordered a chicken shawarma salad, beef shawarma dinner with a 2 sodas. The dinner came with soup and fries or rice.

This picture is the 4 person platter which can feed at least 8! The food is excellent, chicken and lamb kafta are seasoned well and moist, and it comes with several other chicken options and steak. Also came with a large salad, dressing, pita, garlic, and hummus. The price for the platter is $58 with tax. If they were in Troy, Royal Oak, or even Sterling Heights, the price would be double. They are service oriented and helpful and take time to explain everything. Give them a try!

Wow, just wow . Always end up in a good coma when I visit this place. It’s like we’re family, the service is superb but the food is incredible. The kabobs are grilled perfect, the value you get from the platters is crazy, lots and lots of really good food. They even make hummus from scratch. Go try this place, the best.
