This place is worth a visit for sure. It’s a cute little place downtown where you order at the register and they bring your food to your table. I usually visit for lunch and tend to order whatever soup they have for the day. (They do a combo with a 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup and a drink.) The chicken and dumplings alone, are definitely worth the visit. They taste homemade and are very peppery, perfect in my opinion. Their grilled sandwiches are excellent as well. I prefer the ham and cheese.

Cool, clean little delicatessen in the heart of downtown Memphis. My craving for a chicken salad sandwich drove me to google “chicken salad near me” and this place popped up. My food was fresh and I got it fairly quickly. I will be back!

Not sure how the food taste nor do I care! I’m only writing this review based upon me picking up an order for someone! The older lady at the cash register( not sure if she is the owner or what) has a very nasty disposition. I didn’t get a greeting when I walked in, she walked right pass me shrub my shoulder and didn’t even say excuse me.A white lady walked in and she didn’t hesitate to greet her! I guess she is one of the older people who still don’t like black people since the business seem to service others that are not of color. It just hurt to know that this is still happening!

5 stars for amazing customer service. After being almost more than an hour late, they still had my food ready for me, and even offered to heat it up because it had gotten a little cool. Food was great as well and have good prices for what they serve! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a welcoming environment to eat.
